A dozen members sounds awesome.
"@Venatio said:Yeah but didn't Liara say that she never met her father? That leaves the possiblity for Asari male. I am very stoked for this game. According to IGN you won't be able to carry over your level from ME1. Also of note from IGNs preview is the fact that your health will regeneraye as opposed to health packs.

I'm very pumped for Mass Effect 2. Dragon Age and this are pretty much my chocolate and peanut butter of RPGs. From all of the previews I saw they seem to have fixed the major problems of frame rate and texture pop in. Now, if they can only make the surface of explorable planets a little more interesting it'll be gravy.

" That second new race looks a bit silly. Sorta Alien meets Max Payne. "

You can learn most of what is known in the Mass Effect 2 page.
However, asari are a asexual female-looking race, so they do not have a gender. However, I do believe they can have babies with any alien race.
Crazzzzyyyyy......
Me and T'soni were tight in the first game. Wonder what's goin' on.
And about asaris, they are asexual. Even though they look female, they don't really have a gender. They reproduce by themselves.
"@Venatio said:Quite the opposite in fact. Liara was a "true blood", something that was shameful in the Asari society.""@cc23574 said:Yeah but her father was of another alien species, not Asari, and also, female Asari mates with female Asari, not sure how it works thoughThere are no male Asari"

" Long, kinda creepy story short, one of the primary reasons Liara is interested in bedding with Shepard is so that he/she can knock her up and pass along the positive genetic traits that "she" sees in him. Also, most likely to have her own shame of being a full blood somewhat forgiven. "
