Poll: How Many people died in your original Mass Effect 2 Ending?

On my first play through Thane, Jack, Tali and Jacob died. I didn't pay enough attention to upgrading the Normandy; a mistake I do not intend to repeat this time around. Losing so many people was rough, but I really didn't feel bad about losing Thane since he's got what, six months to live anyway (this is the part where somebody says that if he survives you find some miraculous cure to his disease or something ridiculous like that)?
Anyway, I have a question:
This sentence makes me want to play this game. Sounds like there are some REAL decisions within this game.
" Tali. I did not like her, so I just kept going. "
But first I would have to play through the first one again, because I deleted my save file. I know. Biggest mistake of my life and the only reason why I'm not currently playing the second one. But please someone answer this question for me.
WARNING POSSIBLE SPOILER!
Does that huge insect looking creature you either save or kill on the ice planet in the first one make an appearance?
As for my death toll, I lost Samara, Zaeed and Garrus. I quiclky worked out where I went wrong but TBH didn't go back to a previous save. Love the idea that main characters can die in this series and wanted to carry my decisions through to ME3.
Next playthrough though, no-one's dying. Well, maybe Jack (Schemes...)
" WARNING POSSIBLE SPOILER! Does that huge insect looking creature you either save or kill on the ice planet in the first one make an appearance? "Not that exact creature, but there are others creatures of that caliber/ size.
However I felt there where not as many "big" creatures as in the first game.
In my original one, Grunt died, Tali died.
Tali got owned by a headshot because she was dum enough to stick her head out all LOLOL COLLECTORS WON'T GET IN HERE NAO *wham*...
Grunt was team leader of other team which I must say I really did think that all this crap about being a krogan warlord hybrid would make him a natural leader but then again really he's the savage and I forgot all about that.
I'm surprised so many people had two or more people die in their mission. I can understand losing one person by choosing the wrong person for one of the final tasks but apart from that I think it's quite hard to get everyone killed unless you're really trying.
