I don't know why but when I go into listening to some electronica,
sometimes I hear a song that makes me think: Did I just phase into
the Mass Effect Universe? I half expect to see female alien go-go
dancers & aliens from around the galaxy partying it up in some seedy
bar. Here''s a song that could probably find itself on a Mass Effect
video game (don't know about the video, it's a bit..."alien" :P )
Mass Effect 2
Game » consists of 21 releases. Released Jan 26, 2010
After a violent death by an unknown force and a timely reanimation by the human supremacist organization Cerberus, Commander Shepard must assemble a new squad in the seedier side of the galaxy for a suicide mission in the second installment of the "Mass Effect" trilogy.
Songs that remind you of Mass Effect
" Yeah, pretty much nothing outside of the soundtracks reminds me of that game. "They're out there..
This one sounds a bit like TIM's theme:
And this one sounds a lot like the music during one of the missions (Samara's recruitment I think):
that songs actually pretty epic. i dig it."

Well for some reason, I listen to the song " In the name of God" by Sabaton and it reminds me of Saren. Now that I listen to it if you change the words "Religous" with "Geth" and "God with "The council" you'd have a song that almost describes Saren Arterius. The council's blind eye to spectre activity may not be holy but the whole thing in the song about how civilian deaths can be part of a "just cause" in the reports back to the council seem to remind me of Spectres. And yeah the line "Consequence of your action" makes me think of the ME2 Imports lol.
Wow great thread. I'm getting exposed to quite a bit of new artists I can see myself pursuing. I loved the music for ME and ME2, but I was under the impression it was somewhat unique to those games. @BunkerBuster said:
Such a great track. I'm with you, the power in this track almost compels you to replay the game. So good."
THE song of Mass Effect. Makes me want to play it every time it pops on the pod. "
Actually, I just realized I have an actual answer. The Echoes album by The Rapture. Especially the opening track.
