in mass effect three who do you want to come back.Personaly i would like miranda thane and garrus to come back just cause they are awsome.But really i want the best character in me2 to come back to me 3 and that is the best krogen ever in the me universie to come back and he is grunt.
I don't think that BioWare should introduce more than one or two new recruitable squad-mates since they've already spent so long establishing relationships with Shepherd and the casts of Mass Effect 1 & 2.
I think they'll only introduce that Sanders guy as a new character. Other characters will probably only make temporary party members, like in Arrival with that doctor. I wonder how that super biotic girl they've written about in the Mass Effect books will factor into the game. They seem to build her up to be quite an important character in the victory over the reapers.
Since everyone but Ashley survived in my Mass Effect games, I want them all to reappear in ME3. Didn't keep them alive to see them go run off and not give me a hand.
I need Tali to come back. We are in love. She is perfectly my type, why doesn't she exist in the real world. Oh thats right, she's dating some idiot asshole.
@PhatSeeJay: From the way they talk about Sanders, I feel if any mass effect game is going to take place after the trilogy, it will be from his perspective.

Got to have Liara, she's been my love interest through the games. Garrus is brilliant, can't be without him. I'd also like to see Wrex, and naturally Joker has to be in it.
And if he died in ME1, they made him into a reaper. Basically, if you let him die in ME1, you can't get the good ending in ME3, since Reaper Wrex > the universe.
I'm guessing only a few will return, but I'd like to see Garrus, Liara, Wrex, Mordin and Legion come back. Give or take on Tali, I'd drop her in an instant for Liara.
@TEHMAXXORZ: When you finish the Arrival DLC before completing the main story of the game, you see that happen.

I came up with another reason Wrex should be in the next game. He should have a 50/50 chance of responding to anything somebody says to him regardless of how trivial, with.....
Oh wow, yes. I love that guy. I want to see some DLC or part of the game where you get to play him :P It doesn't have to be long, like playing as Joker for a couple of minutes.
Garrus and Mordin. Thane, possibly, but I would rather not see a retcon unless it's a really well done retcon. That disease was part of his character, and while it's sad that he has to eventually die, it was something that fueled and motivated his actions. It would be good to see him alive again, but odd that one of the very things that characterized him would suddenly be gone.
What was that one black fellows' name in ME2? Jacob? Yeah, he was boring, but a reappearance wouldn't bother me that much. I don't much care for anyone else's reappearance, though.
Zaeed Massani, no one else is such a badass character for me, the face really complement his background, I was amazed the first time I saw the cinematic of him arriving in the planet where you do his loyalty mission. "Bring it on, you son a bitch" Oh yeah!
If I had to pick my top three: Garrus because he is the man, Tali because I am in love with her ! and Thane because he reminds me of myself in real life . . . sadly, he won't come back (at least not in my ME3 game) . . . *sadpanda*
Tali because she is the best of the female characters and Mordin because he's just plain awesome. I only lost Jack in my game though, so seeing everyone back would be nice if Thane hasn't succumbed to his disease yet.
