Will the PC version have 360 Controller support?  Anyone know yet?  I prefer my 3rd person games with controller.

Gears And Batman And Halo 2 have played like they would on 360 on my PC with a 360 Pad :D

I doubt it. It has a completely different UI in place that is made for the mouse and not for a controller, and I doubt they will put both of the interfaces in the game. Unless they did for ME1, I don't even know.

It won't because Pc version was designed with action bars user interface and the Radial wheel that 360 version has is going to be ommitted.

I hope the interface will just change. Not a mouse and keyboard fan, and I'm playing an action-RPG, so it doesn't even matter that hard. It's not like you need to aim particularly well or fast.

I believe Bioware has officially stated that there will not be Xbox 360 controller support on PC.

There's no 360 controller support.
The UI differences is like they are in Dragon Age, radio menu vs. action bar.
It doesn't feel like a port, it's a very PC-ish PC game. It's pretty good actually.

Nah I believe it isn't going to. I thought so at first I remembered hearing it, but I think I got ME2 confused with Bad Company 2. Its not GFW either.

Does it matter about the controller if it's wireless? i've been reading how it doesn't work with vista, it doesn't pick up the signal that well and refuses to connect, otherwise I might of bought a xbox360 controller if I could find a wired one. I hope that has a usb slot if you take the wire in half. Must be great how you can just plug a microsoft controller and everything works like a console immediately.

I prefer this game with a mouse and keyboard, the interface is so much easier to use.

I feel like this game was meant for the 360 controller, what with it being called a "Radial Menu" and all. That sucks for PC owners who want it though, but I'm sure they'll deal.

Ahh wikipedia links. The height of classy humor. Go read a dictionary sir, or read my post again. I don't take a side in the console wars. I play both PC and Consoles, I just, in this case, prefer using a controller due to the comfort it provides.

Uhm what? Radial Menu? Where? Maybe during conversations, but we'll manage seeing as in ME1 it converted mouse movement perfectly in conversations.
I wonder if the 360 controller can make use of the quick slot mapping though, since they have improved it by miles. You can actually map your teammates skill onto your quick slots! :-O
