Does anyone remember this dude from ME1 when you tackle on alliance sidequests? Think that Bioware would reintroduce him into the story after he was left out from ME2?

I'm about to start another playthrough of ME1. The name sounds familiar.

Hell yeah! He was awesome even though you only heard his voice and never met him, Lance Henriksen was a good fit for the voice

There are Shadow Broker files on him in ME2, so ... maybe we'll see more of him.

Probably depends if they allow our Shepard to return to the Alliance military. Like by leaving the Collector base intact you stay with Cerberus in ME 3 or by destroying it you join the Alliance back.

He exists a fair bit in ME2, but you never meet him in person. He sends you alliance messages from time to time, namely the Normandy crash site mission.

They are teasing him alot in Mass Effect 2. I wouldn't be surprised if he would play a big role in the ending part. Don't forget that he is totally sets up the Shepard Memorial in 2186 on the world Akuze. Also, It's totally Lance Henriksen who plays Hackett, of course you liked his voice! :)

Oh weird coincidence, i forgot the character he played in MW2 had Shepherd for a last name.

There are so many great characters in the ME universe that they cannot possible cram them all into ME3, but I'll bet he is in there is some form. I hope they make more games set in the universe, they've put so much effort into it that at this point it feels as big as the Star Wars or Star Trek universe. As a side note I just bought the third ME book.

I don't like people who only exist as voices.

I'm pretty sure Hackett is still present in the events of ME2 is conversation and emails.

I thought he dies if you do certain side missions in the 1st game and only "appears" in the second, but maybe I'm confusing him with a different admiral.
