Let is die with dignity. All good things must come to an end. If they refuse to let it die, the least they could do is do something completely different. i.e. a multiplayer game or hell even a dungeon crawler

Whatever it is, I just don't want anything related to the current storyline. No prequels, no sequels, nothing. Just pretend it never happened as far as I'm concerned. Don't get me wrong, I love Mass Effect, I just don't want Bioware to get Square Syndrome (or Geroge Lucasia if you prefer) and tack on games and stories that would end up ruining the magic of the originals.

They should take a break with the games and focus on helping with the movie. I think the most important part is having a good director, no Uwe Boll, no Paul W.S. Anderson... I want Peter Jackson to do a Mass Effect movie called "The Mass Effect".

I would like the Mass Effect team to design a true KOTOR 3 (The Old Republic looks cool, but it doesn't count).

I think we can all agree "The Adventures of Wrex" is going to be their next trilogy, right?

I would like to see the series expanded beyond Shepherd, or even beyond the timeline of the games. Say, as humans first emerged beyond their first mass effect relay, or even hundreds of years later. I'd actually kill to play a Mass Effect MMORPG/TPS structured not-unlike the recently-made-Steam-availableGlobal Agenda.

Other genres. No more in the numbered series though (at least for five years).

It would be good to play someone different in a similar universe imo.

Start fresh with few new Characters, Dragon Age: Origins style. Maybe the VO would be problematic, but hey, they doing ToR with all that VO so that's OK.

I'd love the play as a different race and get involved in the interactions/politics of, say, the turians or asari or salarians etc.

I like the idea of playing in a universe generations after Shepard and witnessing the impact of his actions way way after his death.

They should make a FPS where the main character is a Hanar. Or a Drell.... or a Volus.

personally I want to see more in the "universe" perhaps some spin-off games....maybe an RTS? An online class-based shooter would be cool (like BF3) etc.   
 
maybe a Mass Effect: Volleyball - where you choose to play as Miranda, Liara, Tali, or other female NPCs...you basically go around a beach and play volleyball games to win cash, then spend that on gifts, bathing suits, etc...

I'd also be open to them doing a game where you play as Saren. That could be awesome, I think he's a great character after reading the book and it'd be a change to play the bad guy...well Saren isn't all that bad, just cold and by the books.

I would like them to give the franchise some "air". Let it breathe for a few years, then come back with something new and fresh.

I'd like to see a prequel either regarding the creation of the Specters or the first arrival of humans on the Citadel. 

I'm fine with spin-offs in the Mass Effect universe that doesn't involve Commander Shepard. I hope we get to play as a species other than human in said spin-off.

Knowing BioWare, they'll probably milk the series for all it's worth. I say just let the series die; I'm already tired of them.

I'd love a TBS on the Vita. Of course, I'm one of those few people who still really like TBS games.

They have the races, the powers/classes and the environments... I want a Mass Effect MMO You know Bioware must of have learned so many new tricks with Old republic and even though that still not out and this is kind of a leap. I still dream of the day they make a ME MMO, they would have 60 dollars waiting for them from me

Even though I was against multiplayer in this trilogy, I'd actually like to see it in the future. 
 
I want another game in the universe, but not with Shepherd. I'd also like if you could Co-Op it (although it would be hard to manage the dialogue and choices with co-op, but there's ways it could be done). 
 
I also wouldn't mind MP. The control was tight enough in ME2 that it'd be fun, and there's a lot of potential if they make an MMO like progression system where you can unlock abilities and such.

I think the company that did the best job in this situation was Bungie. After the core trilogy they did a couple of spin off's because that's what they and the fans wanted. They then left the franchise before the fans realised they didn't want any more.

I think after this one they, should start fresh, with the ability to choose a race instead of just gender and looks in the next series.

Shepard should be like Doctor Who, he should continue traveling through space with different companions while occasionally dying so they can bring him back with a new look.

I'm going to get burned by the masses for this one, but I think that Bioware could do great things with a Mass Effect MMO.
 
That or a space sim. Revive the genre and all that.
