Am I the only one not playing this demo and is instead waiting for the game proper?

Also to the people who have played it is the multiplayer worth checking out?

Same here, I was never a great fan of playing demos when I already know I'm getting the game. I can wait a few more days to play it properly.

Yeah, kind of. Except I'm not mad.

I'm also trying to avoid the demo. Thinking about trying it for the MP tho. Also those of you that played it. For a spoiler paranoid person like me (I mean like totally pathologically paranoid). How much story or story hints is there in the SP part of the demo? I'm feeling my resistance is starting to be futile..

@antivanti: There is like, the opening 25 minutes, and than a later mission, that was shown at E3, without any story context. If you're worried about spoilers, don't be. And the multiplayer is not unlocked yet, at least not in Central Europe.

The Demo really doesn't spoil much guys - in fact it may not even apply to your saves at all! Since you can't import you're getting what Bioware gives you, not exactly what Mass Effect is known for. You get a truncated opening and the one section of a mission that ends with a miniboss - it's about 30-40minutes of content. You make no choices and the story elements are so vague it won't majorly impact anything.

The MP is fun as hell and definitely worth checking out when you get access. RPG Horde basically sums it up but it's really fun.

@antivanti: Also, for how much the later piece of the game looks sharp and polished as hell, the opening /on PC anyway/ looks really rough around the edges. The facial animation is not right, the textures are low-res, and the whole thing looks really weird. Hope its an old build.

You're not alone, my gran hasn't downloaded the demo shes waiting on the trilogy getting remade on the next gen, i on the other hand played the demo, the multiplayer seems passable, nothing to write home about though.

Yeah same, the single player demo is an old build back from E3 so it's not really anything new.
