Mass Effect 3
Game » consists of 19 releases. Released Mar 06, 2012
When Earth begins to fall in an ancient cycle of destruction, Commander Shepard must unite the forces of the galaxy to stop the Reapers in the final chapter of the original Mass Effect trilogy.
Female Shepard - Cast your Vote
I can see that many votes come from people who vote with "which Shepard looks the hottest" more over "which Shepard would look the most badass to play as".
I just hope that the 5 "loosing" versions will still be possible to play as in the game even if they wouldn't be "default" femShepard.
With all this said, none of these will matter to me since I'll be sticking with my own custom Shep's anywhoo :P It's always the way when given the option; my own creations always allow a more personal experience over the pre-made defaults for me, no matter how many of their facial features don't quite 'look' right. I do wish they would allow you to customise your created Sheps when you import them, though, just so I could alter a few tweaks and smooth out the rough edges.I can see that many votes come from people who vote with "which Shepard looks the hottest" more over "which Shepard would look the best to play as".

I mean my main Mother Teresa Femshep is all but perfect by my standards, all besides her jaw lookin' a lil too.. sharp. It's weird because they always great during the creation process, but when you see them in motion during conversations, that's when the mistakes start to pop out and stay stuck in your face!
EDIT: Also to make that all sound a lil less creepy, it's exactly the same with my mansheps. Although that may just amp up the creepiness :P

5 doesn't fit, like at all. A sex bomb shell with long blonde air isn't fit to save the universe, seriously. I'd say 4.
Uh, 4 fits that exact definition as well. :|
Hm, seems I can't vote. When I click an image on that Facebook page it just refreshes and there's no button to 'like' it ;x
It'll be nice to see a tough, blond, long haired lady protagonist for once. There's too few of them these days.
With everyone's perception it not too hard to see why.

Have you Liked the Mass Effect group? You have to do that first.
Six. I rarely play as a female Shepard, but I think five reminds me of a bitchy blonde I knew years ago who wouldn't put out, the first three look like butch lumberjack women, and four is an exotic novelty. So despite my preference for the (custom) male Shepard, I say six. Although oddly enough when I look at the jawline and mouth of five, she has a well made personal snark going on there. Five is a close second.

I like 1,4 and 5 the best, can't decide!
I'm in your boat. It's hard for me to choose...
...But I just can't imagine Jennifer Hale's voice out of #4. So, for me, it's probably going to be 1, then 5.

@Enigma777 said:I feel that anyone who plays a male Shepard instantly forfeits their right to complain that there aren't enough positive female roles in video games, or that female video game protagonists are too sexualized. Beyond that, Jennifer Hale's voice acting is just better than the male Shepard's. I played through ME1 as male Shepard, then I tried a female Shepard playthrough and never looked back.Case in point, there will always be only one true Shepard and he will have balls!
Well, I'm not complaining. Also while I agree that Hale has slightly better VO, it's simply impossible for me to believe that Shepard could ever be a woman. That may sound a bit sexist, but come on, there's just no way a woman can fill those shoes.
I'd say It depends on the shoes that are being filled. My female Shepard isn't one to tote a rocket launcher around much, but she will use her biotic powers to slam you against a wall, or shockwave you into the air like a ragdoll. And if a biotic fem Shepard doesn't seem like she could get the job done, then did you also think Miranda, Samara, and Liara are unrealistic characters as females?
Lastly, I'll see your sexist comment and raise you a somewhat homophobic one. One other nice advantage of being a guy playing as a woman in Mass Effect 3 is that I won't be bothered about who hits on my fem Shepard. While I'm happy for gay Mass Effect players who will finally be able to engage in same sex relationships, as a straight male, I'd feel kinda creepy if Garrus or Wrex turned to my male Shepard and said that he'd like to be "more than just friends".
On the other side of the coin, if Ashley wants to sex up my female Shepard, I think I can live with that.
Close up of the current leader, scanned from the lithos you could have autographed by Jennifer Hale after the streaming event.
Number 5 for me, although I find her skin a little too pale. Number 6 looks like an Indian which I like also, but would be better with the hairstyle of 5.
@Mr_Skeleton: Deviantart. She scanned her autographed litho. I have found #6 so far as well, no link to that one though.
Yeah, 5 is a good choice. I think her look works for both a Paragon and Renegade play-through. The others look somewhat biased to me.
I like 4 the most.
Even though she looks nothing like Femshep -actually- looks, which is with short blonde hair and green eyes. But still a good design.
Number 4...she just looks like the kind of badass Femshep should be, the hair works pretty well, and overall, she just seems like the right choice...I mean the other 5 are all just white girls with varying hairstyles...let's add a little flare to the series, as the male version of Shepard kinda looks like he's crapped himself and doesn't want anyone to notice half the time.

Aha! works now, cheers.
Though adding to the large amount of votes on 5 doesn't seem needed now anyway :P
oh god that long hair might get caught in the helmet or body armor....but that dark skinned hottie gets my vote. Last one just reminds me of that junkie whore from Breaking Bad.

They are saying the voting will be up for another couple of weeks, but it seems like 5 will keep the dominating lead.
Close up of Shepard 6 by the way.

Also, why on earth is this not a poll?
Because this is about the official Bioware vote, not just some Giant Bomb thing. He filled us in on the page to go to vote. gave us pictures of all the possible choices and is keeping us (almost) up to date on who's winning.
I can see people missing the point slightly if he made it a poll. They might just think he's just asking people which one they prefer or something, and they won't realise they need to actually vote somewhere else. I believe that whichever one gets chosen is going to be put on the box of the CE? I think so, anyway.
