Jessica Chobot in Mass Effect 3
I did actually, I set it because ME1 is perhaps my favorite game of all time...but it's just horrible to see what it has turned into...@TaliciaDragonsong said:
I might pirate it for Jennifer Hale. I'm almost regretting the N7 tattoo, fucking EA.LOL you didnt think that one through dumbass.

I would not be surprised if she's just a "hey, you can fuck me" girl in the game. Also, every comment i post in the ME3 forums make me talk about sex somehow.

Judging from the amount of detail in her model (asides from some of the typical military dudes already seen in some of the footage) and the presence of her on the ship (I guess) and especially the way her tits almost fell out I'm thinking that's all she is...like Kelly from ME2, but worse.
And no joke, I got a N7 tattoo for reasons I already mentioned earlier in this post^^

Oh man, if she replaces Kelly... BITCH AIN'T GOING NOWHERE NEAR MAH FISH.

...I don't get it. Is she actually an actress, or has experience with voice acting? For the sake of a random '' gaming celebrity'' cameo... they could of chose better. Hell, Geoff Keighley would of been pretty awesome.

I just hope I can punch her in the face, too. <3
While she's deep throating a space hot dog.
I saw the screen cap in the YouTube video and thought to myself: "Oh, man, they added Jessica Chobot to ME3, lololololol". Then I realized that Jessica Chobot was indeed in ME3 and my excitement for this game finally died. Everything about it since Arrival for ME2 has been telling me not to get it. So, yeah. Not getting ME3.

I love Mass effect but these videos where actors tell you how amazing, compelling, special, well written, interesting etc their game is annoy the shit out of me. Also, who on earth gets excited about Freddie Prinze Jr and Jessica Chobot being in a game? if anything they should keep that shit quiet.I like how they just stuck her in with the rest of the cast nonchalantly, like it's old news that she was going to be in ME3. Still, the shitstorm that is ME3's marketing continues to rage on. I'm not holding the whole game against the marketing since they're clearly just aiming for a much larger demographic it seems, but man... they sure do know how to kill a buzz. I just hope the game's launch trailer will be as stirring as ME2's was to really get me pumped again.
A much larger demographic that they are never, ever going to get. They'd sell more if they focused on pleasing the people that ACTUALLY like their games instead of trying to get people to think it's just like Gears of War, but with sex. If they keep this up, they won't gain a new market, and they'll lose their old one. Bethesda is doing awesome and they're not catering to "Dudebros" like Bioware.

ME2 was far superior to ME in every way, explain what is horrible about it now.
I may have missed something here but is there any one particular reason everyone hates Jessica Chobot?

You guys are confusing her for Olivia Munn, I know its hard to tell them apart with all the hot girls in games news.....two,
Did she legally change her name to Chobot or something? I've been getting less and less hyped for this game.

The PSP thing was Chobot I think.
The franchise itself, not the game (ME2).ME2 was far superior to ME in every way, explain what is horrible about it now.
I loved ME1 immensely, ME2 felt way more simplified and not enough focus on story.
Go there, get that dude, talk a little and do a loyalty mission...bleh, I preferred the OH SHIT REAPERS ARE COMING of ME1 way better.
And hey, to each his own.

LOL your right, I guess when they replaced her with Munn she just picked up where she left off by licking everything. I was half right.

No, he's a drug, that's called "Charlie Sheen".
That's not even from this terrestrial realm.
I agree. As much as I liked ME2, I felt ME1 had a better story. And the mining in ME2 was mind numbingly boring. The characters in ME2 were cool, but as stated, meet one, do a loyalty mission, wash and repeat.@Bourbon_Warrior said:

I just felt the story was more focused on the characters in ME2, the story of Thane to me was the highlight of the series.
Great, Jessica Chobot, you sure as hell are selling me on the game with these tits on legs. Also, her character model SHRIEKS Uncanny Valley, seriously. I wasn't sold on Freddie, but hearing him talk in an interview like he actually played the games calmed me down.
I'm also a bit baffled by the introduction of Jennifer Hale like FemShep is some new feature never before seen in the previous games.
Did you guys see how two weeks ago she did a preview of this game for G4? And now we find out she's literally in the game?

But going from OH SHIT ALL MIGHTY REAPERS WE'RE SO SCREWED to "Hey Shep, hear my problems, do a lil missions and lets go die in a relay somewhere, cool".
And I still can't comprehend how Reapers when from bad shit motherfuckers in ME1 to 'Meh, we can fight em' in ME3.
They made it sound like if they ever arrived, we've be fucked.
And now they've arrived and we're not fucked because yo plotholes the proteans probably had a back up plan.

They've been trying with these cards for a while now too; ME2 with the eXtreme baditude of the character-trailers, and even Origins with all that laughably out-of-place Marilyn Manson stuff. Not to mention that while their games do sell well, they never sell the numbers that you'd expect them to with how they keep portraying their games to the general public; think they woulda learned by now. And I agree that all they're doing really is just pushing their original fanbase away; the amount of people who are skeptical towards ME3 on our own forum alone is evidence enough.
I don't currently hold any serious disdain for BioWare, but I'll admit that the image they keep painting themselves as is definitely leading them somewhere pretty eugh.
To be fair her face looks kinda weird IRL, anyway. I'll be honest I don't mind that she is there too much, but what the fuck is up with her boobs, it's like they copy/pasted her into the game and then about tripled the size of the things. Is this really the world we live in and the market BioWare is going for?Great, Jessica Chobot, you sure as hell are selling me on the game with these tits on legs. Also, her character model SHRIEKS Uncanny Valley, seriously.
Man I am not a hater of ME3 like other people around here but sometimes I wonder about stuff like that.
Is this her first credit? If so, I'm surprised it took this long. But I'm getting less excited about this game every time I hear about it.

I agree with you on that one. I thought the story in ME1 was pretty much the best I have come across in gaming, in my limited experience. The horrible inevitablity of what the Reapers meant for the Universe was a great concept, and when this is revealed in the story and you find all the promeathean ruins and bodies I was awestruck. I just thought it really evoked ideas and concepts you don't see in video games very often, where normally the hero always triumphs. The problem has always been that the logical conclusion from that is that whatever Shepard and crew try and do the Universe is doomed all over again and no big game producer is going to have the balls to follow a downer story like that over a big selling trilogy.
I think the original story in ME1 was so great because it asked questions about the birth of the Universe and what God is, and who created life and who can take it away but it seems to be slowly slipping away into another standard 'human saves the Galaxy' story with none of the nuance or depth that was shown in ME1. I still enjoyed 2 (and the actual gameplay was better) but everything I have seen since one has hinted that they have either lost what was great about the story and don't have the guts to see it through and that is a shame. Things like this Chobot stupidity are just another nail in the coffin. - I really hope 3 proves me wrong but I can't see it.
