So during Bioware's PAX East pannel they release an infographic detailing some of the single player stats of ME3 showing things such as which gender Sheapard chosen, class, ect. I'm actually kind of shocked of how many people picked to be a soldier or the fact that 64% of people didn't see Wrex in Mass Effect 3.

Where do you fall in some of these percentges? Any that you are surpirsed about? (Proud to say that I am part of the 4% who beat the game on Insanity)

I would imagine the number of people without Wrex is a good indicator of how many people didn't actually play the first game, and came in with either ME2 or 3.

How in the hell are Vega and EDI higher on the the favorite teammate list than Tali?

Also, soldier the class most used? Eff that, sentinel or bust.

I would have said the same thing about my Engineer. 94.9% of people disagree.

The statistic I'm most interested in is how many people played it more than once.

Does not importing a save from ME1 automatically make Wrex not appear in ME2?

Wow, Tali is a lot lower on the favorite squadmate list than I would've expected. Wonder if they're just basing it on who people take on missions the most. Never would've expected Vega to be that high.

    Also, Engineer class for life.

14.3% of Mass Effect 3 players know how to play it right. Not surprising.

I am in quite the minority: I played renegade femshep, she shot both Wrex and Mordin. Yes I am a monster. Which resulted in not curing the genophage of course. I did it running around with Tali and EDI. Ashley was KIA and I rejected Kaiden to join my team.

Hmm, my next run is going to be insanity engineer I see :P.

Who would do such a thing? If there was one team member I would sacrifice almost my entire team to keep alive it would be Mordin... and probably Legion.

@oscar__explosion: I think so. They have a default version of what happened previously if you don't import, and I'm pretty sure that includes Wrex dying on Virmire. Unless you're on the PS3 where they had that motion-comic thing.

Love seeing these Mass Effect info dumps. Always cool to see what others chose and how my decisions stacked up. I'm with a few others that Tali being so low on the favorite squad member list was surprising. I wonder if since Tali is the last squad member you get (she is right?, I'm pretty sure she was) and since it's relatively late in the game if that factors in. Seeing Kaidan and Ashley so low makes me feel that maybe that matters since they spend like half the game in the hospital or away from you.

And I feel that 40% getting the long service medal should mean something, but I don't know what, haha. Maybe just seems low. I guess I would of thought that more people would of played it through twice or at least imported a ME2 save. Wonder if ME3 was a lot of peoples first Mass Effect experience.

Not surprising really (to me anyway). As a some of these numbers were hinted at before (like male soldier numbers). Others are partly due to gameplay mechanics (like squad mate stuff)

But definitely kinda bummed out a tiny little bit at the M/F ratio, and the class ratio, even tho they were expected.

I think by survival rate they mean in actual gameplay not the story. That would be my guess.

I shot him but I had to go back and reload. It's the only time in the series I've ever gone back and redone a decision because even my renegade Shepard couldn't be that cruel.

Solider is the most boring class so 43.7% of ME3 players are boring. I never understood people who played it because they though it was the 'best' class when the game is easily beatable and a lot more fun with some biotic or tech powers to mix things up.

This right here. I loved the idea of playing as a space mage.

    Hah! Nice.

Can't believe almost 2/3rds of folks didn't see Wrex in ME3. I'm assuming the only way that's possible is if they killed him. MADNESS.

It's interesting to see that the quarian/geth situation is fairly evenly split. Disappointed that Soldier is the most common class. Vanguard all the way.

I shot Mordin, and it was the only time I felt genuinely bad about being a renegade jerkface.

Also, people who choose soldier are playing the game wrong. Straight up.

Apparently if you start a fresh file on ME2 or (I assume) ME3 without importing from ME1, Wrex is replaced as one of the default decisions.

I think it just shows how many people stick to the default character choices. Also as someone who started with ME1 and Bioware managed to stuff up importing my character into both of the next games I can understand why. I tried a different class on each game and playing Adept in ME3 was by far the most enjoyable, laying waste to everything with the power combos is most satisfying.

Tali is acquired at the tail end of the game - the Rannoch arc isn't exactly that long, so by that time Liara, Garrus, EDI, Vega and Javik win by default. Kaidan and Ashley are the lowest also because they are absolutely optional and their character arc completely ends after the Citadel attack.

I played all three games as Adept, didn't know I was such a minority class. They were awesome in ME1 and got progressively nerfed as the games moved away from the RPG model and moved towards the active combat one.

Also about not meeting Wrex in ME3 - I lost my save in a similar fashion to Brad. I had like three playthroughs of ME1 on it and two playthroughs of ME2 with every sidequest finished, every conflict resolved and everyone surviving the suicide mission. So it sucked but I bit the bullet and just started a fresh character in ME3 hoping they at least do what the PS3 version did for ME2, allowing you to make some past choices before starting the game. But nope, not only do they not do that but also the "stock" story options has literally 70% of your old crew dead and you barely meet anyone from the previous games. They all get replaced with some random characters for whatever reason. It's really weird actually, because unless you have some sort of save from the previous game then your default experience in ME3 is completely shortchanged in the character interaction department. Also it's impossible to get the "good" resolution to the Quarian/Geth problem which I thought was really shitty. They should have let you do an extra mission instead of saying "welp no previous save I guess someone HAS to get fucked over"

Fem Shep Renegade Infiltrator. Shot Mordin, killed Wrex, didn't cure the genophage, didn't let Garrus win the shootout.

That thing is great. I can't really say what I did because I played most things both the renegade and paragon ways. The one thing I never did was pick sides in the Geth/Quarian war.
