Have been playing ME3 for 3 hours... And I never saw charm or intimidation options in dialogues like it was in ME2. Should I change something in settings?

I've seen 1 pop up in 7 hours, but I've been dicking around mostly and doing side-missions. So they're there, just not sure about the frequency of them.

Yes, they are there. Have had two so far. Just keep playing.

I have been wildly inconsistent on paragon/renegade. I expect to have some seriously negative consequences for that.

Some more show up further into the game. I'm 22 hours in and I've had less than 10.

I saw one when Jessica Chobot interviewed me.

They're more based on your total reputation, rather than minmaxing one over the other. Which is much better if you ask me. Role playing games should about making choices in character, not just choosing something to fill out a bar. If you do enough side activities, it'll be fine.

@Brodehouse: I was hoping that was the case, but hadn't really had the opportunity to find out. Good to know! So... if I have sufficient reputation and am leaning slightly renegade, do I get the renegade option and not the paragon?
