So I've only played up to the first moment I can walk around the Normady. o When I first go to Liara she acts as though she took over for the Shadow Broker all by herself. I can understand them wanting to incorporate this story for those that didn't play the DLC but it just feels weird that my Sherpard doesn't already know she's the Shadow Broker. Did this happen for anyone else?

She is called the Shadow Broker before you land on Mars by the Admiral.

My Shepard already knew.

Weird. Wonder why my save didn't acknowledge it.

I helped her defeat the Shadow Broker in ME2 and I went back to her as the new Shadow Broker several times.

When you talk to her first on the Normandy, I got a lot of Shadow Broker talk, even was able to ask how that hurt dude who helped you was doing.

Same here. Might be some weirdness with the OP's save.

Yeah, it definitely worked fine for me too. Even the little VI drone (now with a name, but the name escapes me) makes comment on it being nice to see Shepard again.

Not trying to rub it in, I just want to point out that it sounds like a more isolated bug. Are you sure you imported a save game from after finishing the DLC?

I can confirm that if the save you use doesn't have DLC data on it, no one mentions Liara as the Shadow Broker, as that didn't happen to me at all.

I played through the DLC with my only save and it didn't register. Shepard acted like he had no clue.

Yeah not sure what's causing it, I saw no differences between my saves when I did the import. I had beat the DLC before I finished the game so none of my saves should be without it. I saw someone on Bioware's forums had a the same problem. Welp, too far into 3 now to turn around and load up 2 again. Just hope it wouldn't have made a big deal in game.

THe SHadow Broker DLC has a plethora of refrences in ME3.

I've had a few problems like that. For the rachni mission the original conversation mentioned that I had killed the queen then on the approach Garrus referred to me letting the Queen live and then back to having killed her when we got to the ground.

So far in my game all ME2 dlc has been aknowledged properly.
