February is Mass Effect month and I am playing through 1-3 the first time. Mordin just died and holy shit... I shed a few manly tears! I am so upset right now that I need a break. The Last of Us beginning? Sad but no tears. Red Dead Redemption "ending"? Damn that was harsh. But when Mordin went up that tower I said to my girlfriend: "Oh no, if they let him die I stop playing FOREVER!" Then he exploded. SINGING HIS SONG!

Now if you excuse me, I need to cry into my pillow.... ;(

Yup, just wrapped up my ME1 through ME3 for the first time earlier this month. Mordin went from an okay character who was amusing most of the time in ME2 to one of my favorite characters by the end of that scene in ME3 (If you always didn't go full paragon I heard he gets even better just before going up with him yelling that he made a mistake). Some other ME2 characters do some awesome things in ME3. Everything but the last mission in that game is fantastic.

Also do yourself a huge favor and get the Citadel DLC it is fantastic.

There was a death of a character in ME 2 that I thought was done very well. He was perfect for the part, but I didn't like it going down that way.

Mordin died in 2, Wrex died in 1. I missed out on some of the best stuff afterwards.

But after watching that thing on Youtube, I still felt it even if he was dead to me.

Same for me. I didnt want him to do it but when he said "It has to be me, someone else might get it wrong" I knew he was right and I let him go... Him singing at the end was a nice touch too.

@csl316: I glassed Ashley as soon as she even thought about killing Wrex.

Damnit. I don't care what people say, I love ME3

I left Ashley alive, which is unfortunate because I didn't know she was a space racist. Even the new hairdo in 3 couldn't redeem her.

Now, to confess my secret shame. I KILLED WREX!! But I didn't want to and it still haunts me with clips of cool moments in the Citadel DLC.

I cried as well, but because of how beautiful the moment was. He sacrificed himself because he felt guilty about his work on the enhanced Genophage. Redemption, etc...
