Got them in your head? Good. Scenario is this. Mass Effect 3 gives you an impossible choice and you have to sacrifice one of those two party members, for the good of the galaxy. Who do you save and who do you leave to their doom?

For me it'd be Garrus and Wrex. I love Wrex but he'd have to go. He's my dude but Garrus is like my right hand man. I'd shed many manly tears for him though. :-(

Garrus just calibrated one too many times for me. 
 
My favourite duo is Jack and Wrex. If I had to sacrifice one, it had to be Wrex.

Wrex lives, Garrus dies.

I would probably sacrifice Wrex since he has a much better chance of surviving certain death than Garrus. Hopefully this doesn't happen since Wrex was already (potentially) put up on the chopping block back in ME1. Still, since I saved Wrex back in ME1, I'm not sure if I can sacrifice him in ME3.

Tali and Mordin. I'd sacrifice Mordin. He's a rational fellow and if anyone would understand the necessity of the action it would be him (assuming it happens for the greater good). I'd shed many tears and request that showtunes be made in honor of him. It's a hard choice, but Tali is Tali. No losing her.

I will turn off the game before I kill Garrus or Tali, you can't make me do it!

Jack and Garrus. Jack's character more so befits a heroic sacrifice as some sort of elaborate character arc, where as it's more fitting for Garrus to hold the line against impossible odds only to be found alive with a smile on his face and a shitload of dead.

Same as you OP. Garrus and Wrex and Wrex would have to go. Garrus is too much of a bad-ass.

Tali and Wrex.  Love Tali but I could never bring myself to kill Wrex in Mass Effect 1 and I am not going to do it now.

Liara lives because we are lovers (no, seriously). Also, I'm pretty sure that Garrus would want to make that ultimate sacrifice for the galaxy...sure as hell beats all that bureaucracy at the citadel, right? It'd be great to just throwaway Jacob or Miranda, though.

I almost get the feeling that the game will prompt you with a decision similar to this.

As a mission first weigh every action type Shepard, Garrus would have to bite the bullet as I want a Krogan that I understand leading that race. For the good of the galaxy, can't have some less rational Krogan coming to power post war. Regardless of whether that plot thread culminates in a new conflict at some point in the future, better the enemy you know.

Regardless Wrex will undoubtedly not be a mainline party member in ME3 so, it's then Mordin or Garrus, and it would have to be an in the moment thing, but probably Mordin.

It would be between Garrus and Miranda. Sorry Miranda, Garrus stays!

Garrus lives and Mordin dies. As great as he is, Mordin is at the end of his life. Garrus hopefully would have many more years to fill with being awesome.

It's Tali and Garrus for me. And Garrus would be the one to die because my Shepard is bangin' Tali.

Save Tali, sacrifice Garrus. He wouldn't be too enthused, but I'm sure he'd understand.

Jack strikes me as a character that gets the chance to live, and with that begins to appreciate life. Kind of like Sam L in Pulp Fiction. She grows her hair out, and "walks" the galaxy righting wrong. Garrus seems like the Spock to Sheperd's Kirk, he's the one that goes into the room of radiation to save the crew because the needs of the many out weigh the needs of the few.

For me though My favorites are Mordin and Wrex, I'd choose Mordin because it serves for a better story, maybe as a absolution for his sins against the Krogan, he insists saving their leader.

I'd reload an earlier save, and take Tali and have her killed. I've never liked her, not sure why.

She's the only squad member who died in my ME2 playthrough. Not much of a loss if you ask me.

No one died for me but if I had to choose anyone to sacrifice, it'd be her. The whole "badass bitch" thing, even with the games fantastic dialogue, just made me hate her.

From the sound of a Game Informer preview, one choice basically asks you to fuck over either Mordin or Wrex.

That's going to be tough.

Legion lives to fight another day while Garrus calibrates those engines for the last time.

Me and mordin would lament the loss of thane but hey, dude had cancer and was about to die anyway, he would gladly go for the good of the galaxy. But if i knew about it beforehand, i'd shoot Tali in her bitch face myself. Hate her and the entire Quarian race.

Considering all the time I spent trying to romance Miranda to get that achievement, I have to say that Mordin dies

To be fair though ... if you talk to hear enough you realize that most of that "bitch" stuff is an act and there is more behind her as a person. For me she actually startet as a very one-dimensonal char that I started to like once I realized she is deeper than I thought at first ...

The Question: I can't decide between 2, would be at least Garrus, Mordin and Tali ... and between those 3 Garrus would have to go.

Thane and Legion. Thane's already dying so he'd make more sense to make a sacrifice. But legion is only a platform for the geth, so it wouldn't really matter if his body was destroyed. The actual geth would go on, right? Or am I completely misunderstanding the geth?

I would kill Tali even if she wasn't in my squad. Honestly, I want to get rid of her.

And I'm not killing Garrus. By the time of ME3, Thane is probably already dead or almost there. I thought he only had a few months to live in ME2?

Anyway, I would send Thane because he's going to die anyway.

Tali and Garrus, Garrus will nod to me and say "it was an honor working with you Shepard" .... and then will turn the game off because that will make me cry like a girl , I hope they don't make me take that decision.

Fuck. Garrus and Tali all the way. It would be pretty fucking heartbreaking to see either of them go. I've felt like my Shepard is best friends with Garrus. Reuniting with him in ME2 was one of the best moments in the game. Felt like it was old friends reuniting after their ways had parted for a good long while, and just picking up right where they left, even though the situation was now different, and they'd both been through a lot since. Then again, Shepard's friendship with Tali blossomed into love, and it would be pretty hard to go against those emotions either. So yeah, dunno.

Zaeed dies, Legion lives. Zaeed is a merc and doesn't really have much retirement options, as he admits himself, so him going in a final bang seems fitting.

Between Thane (who doesn't have a lot of love in this thread) and mordin I would probably pick mordin, despite thane being the sick one who will die soon after, i just couldn't be the one who sends him to his death

This for the same reasons, plus I feel more responsible for Tali's welfare than for Mordin's. She has a "little sister" appeal that makes me want to protect her. Mordin, on the other hand, is a grown-up and would accept my choice considering the situation. Hell, he might even welcome it as atonement for his past misdeeds.

Also, I don't think some people read the question properly. Saying you don't like Tali and then wishing her dead removes the Sophie's Choice-like quandary of OP's thread. We can all easily pick someone we don't like to die, but the hard part is allowing someone we do like to pass from this existence in favor of another.
