What do you think Brad wrote down on that note?
What did Dave write in that Game of the Year envelope?
My guess, Brad is gonna say something about the Asari being created by Reapers. Just a guess. I always thought that the shape of reapers looked like an upside down asari tentacle head...also hanar bodies...also prothean and collecter heads...also whales.
@EXTomar: Wait, what? Where do you get that Brad showers at work from? I'm pretty sure Brad said in a previous Bombcast that he likes to get up early and play some games before getting ready for work. I think that accounts for his gameplaying and subsequent shower revelation.
But which one????
He thinks he knows the ending so it should be interesting to see what it says after he finishes it. Should be more interesting than this post for such a short video that any pertaining questions to it could have easily gone into the comments on the video instead of also going into the forums.
But which one????
I didn't play Leviathan, but if what I know of it is true, and if Brad actually did play it, I think he may have been able to guess it. The only problem is, the part of the game he referenced in the video has nothing to do with that, so I don't think he guessed it.
For context, he just picked up the Thessia mission and he probably finished Leviathan between resolving the geth/quarian conflict and returning to the Citadel. There hasn't been a dream sequence since curing the genophage.
He's probably made a connection between the asari and protheans because of everyone telling him to take Javik to Thessia. However, he'd be hard pressed to make a logical leap to the ending just based on that. The mission to Thessia is to find information on the Catalyst. I think he thinks Shepard is the Catalyst. I tried rewatching the video again to figure it out, but just ended up with a steaming load of confirmation bias.
The Didact is a Forerunner that will bring about the end of the world in December 2012 and the only person who can stop it is a dude called Jason "My Sweet" Starchild. Final battle takes place on a Southeast Asian island, against an actual giant Precursor cuttlefish... bird.
He must have played Leviathan, which explains the origins of the Star Child and how it created the Reapers. He could pretty accurately predict that the Star Child turns up for the ending just based on that.
We recorded the video before I'd played Leviathan. I was saved before the mission to Thessia at that point.
