I'd like to follow up with some other characters during the end sequence. In particular, I'd like to see Garrus, etc., through to the Normandy to wrap up the WTF moment when everyone is on some alien planet. What I think we'll get is option E (though probably without a new squad member). And I'd be happy with that.
I think if we ever got option A or B (which so many seem to want) that they're just going to be disappointed all over again.
Mass Effect 3
Game » consists of 19 releases. Released Mar 06, 2012
When Earth begins to fall in an ancient cycle of destruction, Commander Shepard must unite the forces of the galaxy to stop the Reapers in the final chapter of the original Mass Effect trilogy.
What type of Mass Effect 3 DLC do you want most? (spoilers)
Don't touch the ending, instead produce more DLC missions akin to Overlord/Shadow Broker/etc that fit into the middle of the game.
An ending/epilogue DLC is just going to produce even more rage no matter what, they should follow their move of cancelling DA2 content and just leaving that mess of an ending alone
Any of the above except D. Or just an epilogue of a slideshow telling us what happened to various characters/races Animal House style
I would like an epilogue as Shepard following the framework of the "good" Destroy ending. The DLC can follow the guidelines of the indoctrination theory or not, though I think it would be pretty cool if Bioware adopted that as canon. I'm much more likely to purchase DLC that appends onto the end of the game rather than filling in the middle.
Isn't Shepard grounded by the Alliance between Arrival and the beginning of 3? I don't see much potential for DLC starring Shepard taking place in that time frame.
I would really like them to make the first dlc a retconned new ending with all the promise and scope that should have been in place. But considering the low chances of that happening I'd like a completely stand alone new side story starring a different character set years after ME3's events.

I will purchase DLC that happens during the story, for example the inevitable retaking of Omega.
I will not purchase anything that will change the ending.
I don't want any content adding onto the middle of the game or MP DLC as I think there were leaked pictures that showed Batarians as DLC for MP, coulda been fake, but fuck Batarians, does anyone even like them? I sure as hell don't. (EDIT: Right, maps, I'd be down for that assuming they are implemented into the match making well enough)
I want them to continue the ending after Destroy. Assuming it is Shepard waking up in London with shit still going down of course. How did BioWare not see all the non-sense in the ending like the Normandy being near the Mass Relay or my squad members somehow being aboard the Normandy?
Assuming two things: 1. Emily Wong survived the L.A. reaper occupation, and 2. Mass relay tech still functions somewhere, or is re-initiated...it be cool to play a story-driven DLC as Wong's military/mercenary escort as she travels the galaxy piecing together an oral history of your Shepard. Be a nice way to move backwards through the overall story and see a bunch of familiar faces. Maybe even those who recall Shepard less fondly than if he/she were standing in front of them. Could be plenty of combat as well, getting Wong in and out of rough zones.
I kinda don't wanna go near the ending to be honest... the whole situation is so fucked up now that I feel like I'm best just living in ignorance and focussing on the journey that gets there. So some additional mid-game content would go well, especially since I'm in the middle of a second playthrough. I also would really love a Batarian squad member, and one that's as integrated into things as well as any other.
I think the original ending wasn't bad, but they should do something to elaborate on it more. Was the citadel stuff at the end a dream/indoctrination/path to heaven or hell? What happened to the characters? What happened on earth? Did Shepard survive?
i don't really mind ... haven't bought any DLC for the series and don't really intend to. but interested to see what they come up with. can't be a nice situation to be in.
Fans have more or less outlined a "get-out-of-jail-free" card (it wasn't really free, but you get the idea) for Bioware in terms of the indoctrination theory, so I could see Bioware going with that and appending to the end of the "destroy" ending. For the record I don't mind the endings the way they are, but it's kind of a shame to think that Shepard's journey is over like that. Definitely want more ways to explore the universe akin to Lair of the Shadow Broker or Overlord, which both had some really cool narratives that were self-contained.
