Since EA bought Bioware a while ago I'd assume Microsoft stopped printing discs for the first Mass Effect since they were the ones to publish it. Getting a brand new copy might cost you but if I were you I'd just get the PC version or buy the 360 game used somewhere.

Yup. The OP is probably just looking at some kind of "limited edition." The cost makes no sense.

People putting things (in the new & used section) on amazon tend to get a little over hyper on the pricing for just about anything most of the time. Most of the Skylanders stuff is still double (or more) price on amazon thanks to these idiots.

The on demand option is honestly one I didn't consider. Thank you for that.

For those suggesting PC, I already have it on PC. Was looking to get an Xbox copy.

the gameplay is much better in 2 and 3 and thats what mattered to me the most. i love all 3 though in all fairness

Got it today on Games on Demand. Probably better anyway since I don't have to switch out my MW3 disc for when I want to dive into some multi with friends.
