I've gotten to that point, In all my playthroughs I've never saved him even in my paragon run. So is it worth saving him for mass effect 2

As I was scrolling down I thought this said:

no its not

It changes little for Mass Effect 2, but the hints are there that you will probably reap the reward for it in Mass Effect 3. Same goes for the Rachni.

Wrex was too cool for me not to save. How can you not love a character like him?

I don't understand how you were unable to save him during your "Paragon" run.  Did you not bother to place any points into "Charm"?  And, while not a requirement, if you get his armor first, that might help.   I thought he was very cool in ME2, although and I can't imagine what the game looked like if he'd been dead.  (Psst, don't tell me. I'll find out on my own someday.)
