I'm not really for an Halo movie, but what about Samuel L Jackson playing the chief? As long as he got to swear often.

How about Arnie? The chief doesnt have to say much anyway, and they can just put the voice in later. But when you think about it that way it could be just about anyone (except a midget, not sure a midget could pull off a 7ft super soldier.....)

I think they should go the Darth Vader route and have someone who fits the build be in the suit and then have a voice actor do the actual, erm, voice.  Because I'm sure it would be easier to get one guy who's very tall do acting and one guy who's not so tall do the voice work.  But I'm just assuming there.

Today is second post five year new user day and I can guarantee I am not mentally deficient in anyway. Why not talk about this? You all know HALO is going to come back around in the production loop and somebody is going to do it. You can bet that 334 looks at blogs like this to ascertain what YOU want in a HALO film. Quit being so snide and actually put some info out there that they have to go on. Snide remarks go nowhere.

Nobody. There won't be a movie folks. Halo was hot inside of gaming only...and that as five years ago. The games are decent, but Halo is not in the wider public consciousness anymore. Microsoft will do its low budget little made for TV/XBO stuff, but even that will lose money. Halo is over as something to leverage outside of gaming.
