    Tedious Work

Since this game was made by Atlus, I thought I'll give it a try since most games I've played from Atlus were good. There were a few that were extremely disappointing. Though, Master of Monster Lair isn't as disappointing.

The story line is absurd at best but extremely humorous. Only in Japan right? Of course. Anyway, having found a shiny shovel, the boy has to dig dungeons and so forth. There isn't much to the game so I was surprised when a story was somehow fitted into the game. After a couple days worth, I set the game down.

The one reason could be that it was an RPG game. That explains why it was so tedious. There isn't much depth to the story also. But I have to say that it was an interesting concept. Having played games like Dungeon Keeper, I thought this game might be similar in game play. Well, it was similar but totally different. Dungeon Keeper was such a fun game. Master of Monster Lair lasted while it did.

Recommendations: If you like RPG games that doesn't involve roaming around trying to look for where to go next, I'll recommend this game for you. Anyway that loves RPG games, it might be worth a shot. Other people, there are much more enjoyable games out there.
