    Following the buyout by Warner Bros., Matt Booty will no longer work for Midway Games. Along with all employees at the executive level, he received a sixty day notification of this fact on July 16, 2009.

    Booty previously worked at Microsoft Game Studios, where he headed up mobile gaming initiatives for the Windows Phone 7 platform and took the lead heading Microsoft's Minecraft business.

    Since January 2018 he was promoted to Corporate Vice President of Microsoft Studios.
