For what it's worth I'm enjoying the game for what it is, that said, holy shit how did this get put out like this?

Early in the game i had a few cut scenes with no audible dialogue, and every time i'd enter bullet mode the sound would stutter. As the game progressed I experienced a few more hiccups in dialogue missing, game freezing, and sound flat out cutting out. Probably the most frustrating one of them all was when i had played a sequence over 4-5 times and finally beaten it, I get introduced to a pretty cut scene and bam frozen. Now I'm stuck again. Kind of makes me not want to finish the game...

Anyone else have some issues? I've seen some high quality glitchy games before but never one as game breaking as this.

The only problem i had was missing audio from a cutscene and only that. The game is awesome.

I have't played myself, but I've not heard a single issue like this.

On the PS3 version, I started getting lagging dialog issues about halfway through where I would see the characters talking, but wouldn't hear the dialog until several seconds later. Thankfully, it didn't happen very often.

Just saw from your achievements its the xbox version, perhaps your xbox is on the way out? Have you tried installing it?

Also you played Skyrim, so this is not the glitchiest game you ever played.

I had a few glitches in the game. Where I went through the ground and had missing voiceovers.

It's the PS3 version, and the game is fresh out of the case, PS3 is working fine on everything else. The reason I'm saying it's the glitchiest (for me at least) is that the glitches are game breaking. They're not quirky annoying things like "Oh I can't pick up this gun." but things like, game freezes, dialogue dropped, and stuttering sound. Glitchiest by volume of glitches? No, but certainly the most glitchy by my attempts to play it. I'm enjoying the game but my sessions are hit or miss. A few days ago I chugged away 5 hours no problem, today I spent probably an hour playing and had to restart the PS3 4 times.

I fell through the world in the first 10 minutes of playing. Then proceeded through the rest of the game without a single issue.

It has more glitches than i would have expected from a rockstar game that falls outside of typical ragdoll/physics jank

@WVUEers:With Rockstar known for not quite delivering the best ps3 versions of their games, I've been roaming the internet ever since Max Payne 3 came out, checking if anyone has had any issues with this version specifically, and from what I've gathered, you're not the only one. Even with the latest patch it seems like a lot of the game breaking stuff still persists for most players. So yeah, dunno what else to tell you...it fucking blows.

If that's the glitchiest game you have ever played, then you've never played an MMO

Then you made a mistake in getting the ps3 version (unless thats your only choice), 360 version is spotless from my own experience.

Did you expect a modern game to be finished before release?

Yeah I fell through the world many, many times, most of the time I would hit A afterwards and it would just keep repeating, worst time it just gave me an orange screen and it totally froze up on me. After restarting game I would get to the same point and it would give me a cutscene I never got before

I too have also had audio/video bugs in cutscenes aswell and i'm playing on the xbox version

That's not that bad.

And I haven't run into anything like that.

I've said I enjoy the game, on my profile you can clearly see I own the game...

As I expressed earlier it's not the glitchiest in volume of glitches but how often they impede the game for me. I'll say maybe NHL 12 gives it a run for its money but aside from that I've had to restart my PS3 more times in the last week while playing this game then I can remember in such a short window with any other game, and it's not like this is a 60 hour game.

This was the only issue I had. It was on the cruise ship and partly my fault, since I dove to shoot some guys near a wall, and I landed on top of a chair and the game didn't understand what to do and I feel through the world. I dove around a few times and it eventually came back.

@WVUEers: Im playing on ps3 and ive had the same issues with the audio dropping out

Glitchest game? No. But I have had a few issues.

1) Hard locked twice yesterday when trying to boot up the game.

2) World vanished for a little bit during a cutscene, leaving only a couple of character models

3) Audio got completely out of sync towards the end of chapter 10 within a cutscene.

Those were the main ones.

lolwut. I beat the game twice and played multiplayer, and havent experienced a single glitch

Minor audio issues here and there, and the game just didn't load once so I had to exit to the PS3 menu, but really not bad at all. I can easily think of many more games that were much worse, such as Operation Raccoon City, for example.

That's strange. I had no problems playing the first disc when I rented it on the 360.

I had zero glitches on my first playthrough, and now I'm hitting a bunch of them. No gamebreakers, but it's weird just the same.

I had several problems with my copy of the game. I contacted Rockstar and they asked me to test the game on a second machine to see if it was a disc problem or a problem with my system. It turned out it was a disc problem and they asked me to send it in so that they could test it themselves and provide me a new copy of the game. Apparently some copies of Rockstar games have problems, and if you contact customer support and let them know the issue they'll be more than happy to work through it with you. Don't be afraid to contact the developer and tell them your problem. They want their game to work properly and will probably help you out if you contact them and are respectful.

I had absolutely no problems.

game played fine for me only glitch i had is i missed a cut scene but i restarted and was fine after that

yeah i had a glitch at the level where you stand on the crack house building that you rigged with the C4, what happend was that the second time i died during that part the screen went black at the checkpoint and i only could hear my gunfire when i pulled the trigger, So i had to restart my ps3 everytime that happend ....

And i have that audio cutscene glitch too , and that one was really fucking annoying it just ruined the whole level where you hang out of the bus while shooting.

rockstar needs to fix this shit on the ps3.

It's not a glitch. Bethesda makes their combat like that on purpose.

My friend just played through it all on a launch 60gig and it ran perfectly.

Audio cut out once during a cutscene and I had some pretty bad pop-in a couple of times, but otherwise, it's smooth as fucking silk. PS3 version.

I haven't had any issues with the game so far. I'm playing it on a slim 360 for reference.
