...I am psyched for this game. And I think Rockstar Vancouver is a great dev to do it. They had to replicate the GTA formula for their game and it worked. So what's to say they can't replicate the Max Payne formula? Also, Rockstar seems to take pride in their work and they certainly have the money.

Yeah, after what Rockstar did with GTAIV, I can't wait to see what kind of awesomeness they can bring with Max Payne. God, just thinking about it has me tangentally drifting to thoughts of Mila Kunis... oh, Mila, my love....

I feel confident that they will do some interesting things gameplay wise, but the real worry is that they nail the story.  I loved Max Payne 1 and Max Payne 2 was maybe my favorite game ever.  I simply love the writing and plot to the series and it would be a shame for this game to be a let down to what is such an amazing couple of titles that Remedy made.

Gotta say I really hope they don't do a cover system with this game.   Make the game about movement like Max Payne should be.  There's still plenty you can do there without coping out to stop and pop gameplay.  This would seriously betray the gameplay of the series IMO.

I personally would like to see a cover system implemented in the game. I think it would help it greatly.

Max payne is one of my favorite game series' i just love the story and the narrative aswell as the gameplay but aslong as they keep that basic formula im sold.

I think a cover system would be acceptable only if they give it a Max Payne style to it. Like shootdodging from cover or something
