...don't buy it. Got it in the post today and its quantity over quality. The statue is over sized and not detailed enough with max's face looking really weird. A lot of other content is downloadable so you gotta sign up to the site and enter a code...ughhh. would it have killed them to just burn a cd. Anyway as a fan of collectors editions I'm feeling pretty underwhelmed by this one.

So if your thinking about getting it is recommend just picking up the game and possibly eBayin to find the max payne bullet.

Good god, how is that even possible? How is it that the original looks great, and the other ones look so cheap? For those who aren't sure what I mean, look at this post. I was originally going to get it, but I canceled my Amazon preorder, because I realized the value proposition wasn't really good, especially when I'm not a big fan of big, clunky, limited editions.

Your not wrong to say it's a bad deal but damn if I wouldn't like that Mona Sax skin. Been playing a lot of multiplayer and the Mona skin would be fantastic.

The only collectors I ever got was Stalker, call of Pripyat (not too much to it and only 40.00 if I remembers right on sale at Amazon) and surprisingly, Halo Reach..not a historic Halo fan. Max Payne changes a bit too much in appearance for me to be comfortable with, though it could conceivably be the same guy over the decades.

He looks like someone messed with the sliders too much.

Regretting getting it. I ended up spending some amazon reward cash and a gift card on it. The statue and the random pictures are kinda lame. I do enjoy the bullet keychain though.

Ill be fine with not getting collectors if those multiplayer skins become available as DLC later

My general rule of never buying the collector's edition of games is once more vindicated.

God damn that statue looks horrible.

Gamestop tried to ring me up for a collectors edition and I was not having that. Dude was like "That'll be 100 dollars" so I dropped trow and took a shit on his face. That'll teach 'im.

The Assassin's Creed and Batman ones were top notch, though they were done by very well known sculpting studios.

The only content you have to download is the soundtrack, which most people buy digitally now anyway, so it's not a big deal, it just takes a couple of minutes to download. The bullet keychain actually looks pretty sweet. And yes, while the statue's face might not look fantastic, the rest is actually pretty good for the price you pay. High quality statues can easily go upwards of a 100$ by themselves. So overall, I think it's pretty good. You also get some pretty nice looking art prints.

But hey, to each his own I guess. I'm the idiot who buys every collector's edtions.

Edit: Oh and also, you can unscrew the bullet and it's hollow, so you can put like........cocaine in it, or somethin'.
