The long-awaited third Max Payne game finally arrived in May 2012, courtesy of Rockstar Vancouver. Eight years after the end of Max Payne 2, an aging, burnt-out Max finds one last chance to redeem himself while working as a bodyguard for a rich family in Brazil.
If he's asking about the console versions, obviously PC isn't an option. Just because the PC version is superior in every way doesn't mean you have to be a jerk about it.
@TooWalrus: Ha ha, yeah. I would have added the PC version if that was a choice I could have, and if I did have the choice to get it on PC, I wouldn't have asked.
Both versions are fairly comparable and competent. DigitalFoundry gives a slight edge to the 360, but if you want the single disc convenience then maybe go PS3. I imagine both versions have a pretty low multiplayer population at this point (at least the 360 does from first-hand experience).
I don't know. If you want to play the multiplayer, then get Xbox. There aren't many people on the PS3 version but there should be people on the Xbox version. If you just want to play the story, then get it for whatever system you feel more comfortable playing TPS with.

I was wondering how many posts it would be before some jerk will come in and say "PC". Didn't take long, huh?!
@DharmaBum: I'm in it for the campaign only actually, does the campaign span two discs on 360, or is the multiplayer and singleplayer split? One disc campaign, and the other multiplayer? If the campaign is on two discs, that might make me want it on PS3, maybe. I usually get Rockstar games on PS3 since my brothers got GTA 4 on PS3, so I've been doing that from then on because it felt right, but Max Payne is a different story.
