The Giant Bomb
In my personal estimation, this website needs some lore. A legend. The legend of the Giant Bomb. What is the Giant Bomb? Where did it come from? Who is responsible? Why is it such a threat to normal, sane human society? Why should the world be concerned? How is this remarkable device / machine / dude-stabbing simulator going to affect people in general?The Novel
This is where we, the users, come in. We create the greatest novel ever written, one post at a time, using sheer willpower and the unmitigated desire for greatness. I have no idea where this thread will end up, but we this needs to be written. The tales! The thrills! The chills! For the love of Vinny's beard, THIS NEEDS TO BE WRITTEN!!And so... the rules:
- All additions to the story need to be in bold so that we know what is an addition to the story and what is just a comment.
- Keep additions to the story SEPARATED from general comments within any posts. This needs to be readable.
- Maximum of 3 sentences per addition.
- Photos are allowed if they help further the story (please no meaningless distractions. Be tasteful folks.).
- DO NOT NULLIFY THE PREVIOUS USER'S ENTRY! Like good improv, we need to go with the flow, bending the tale to our whims without sabotaging another individual's efforts.
- No consecutive posts.
- Use your imagination!

It was a dark and stormy night when Jeff climbed into his mech, brilliant gold-plated steel contrasting jet black carbon fiber with every lightning strike. The mech purred to life with a subtle flick at the starter, and he threw it into "Trot" before donning his visor. He knew that the Giant Bomb was out there somewhere, and he needed to get there soon or else the world would be surely doomed.
