    Overview

Mechanized Attack is a sci-fi on-rails fixed-gun shooter developed and released by SNK for arcades in 1989.

Using the same hardware as SNK's other fixed-gun shooter Beast Busters, Mechanized Attack pits two human soldiers against an endless army of disguised cyborgs. The game uses a special Uzi-shaped controller with an additional button at the top for explosive weapons.

It was later ported to the Nintendo Entertainment System on June 1990, where players can use either the standard NES controller or the NES Zapper.

    Debug Mode

By holding down Down/Left/B/Select on controller 1 and Right/A/B on controller 2 a debug mode can be accessed. Music and sound effects can be toggled, and starting lives, bombs, and level can be selected.

This debug mode also comes with an image of a woman wearing a coat and a dress. By setting specific values into the menu her clothing will be removed until the point where she is wearing nothing at all.
