No news for a long time now... which is never a good sign... anyone heard anything?

They are probably all asleep. Was a long haul last night.

So 9 months, 4 weeks later and we still haven't heard a damn thing. 
 
I hope this doesn't turn into another DNF scenario. The last time I enjoyed a good game of MW4 was many years ago.

Haven't heard anything,but i'm really worried about it. Why isn't there more good mech games made in the west. I would imagine the genre has a pretty sizable fanbase. And when talking about a game long overdue....Shogo 2. MAKE IT MONOLITH!

Aren't we coming up on two years since the last news on this title? 
 
I had read a rumour that there were issues regarding copyright on some of the 'mech designs used in the game that may be holding up final production/release.  Unfortunately, I have no source other than this baseless speculation that I read somewhere...

Man, I think that this game might never come out. I hope that's not the case. I love this franchise. Trenched might be the next best thing in the time being for some good Mech Assault type action.

If there's not a peep at E3 I'd say there's a strong chance it's been shelved.

Nah, I wouldn't give up hope on the new MechWarrior game. But I do expect 2 things from an eventual release: it not selling well and it not being like the previous MechWarrior games at all (not as much of a mech sim). It's like Descent; the stuff isn't relevant anymore. It's all about the modern military shooters now... However, again, I don't think this has entered development Hell just yet.
