A bit of a departure from the first game where you were deployed in Afghanistan, Warfighter tells the story of U.S. Tier 1 Operator "Preacher". It is still unknown if you will jump back and forth between different characters like the previous game or CoD for that matter or if the game will focus soley on Preacher. The game has been written by Tier 1 ops while deployed overseas so you will see many missions based around these from rescuing hostages in the Philippines to eliminating the pirate threat on the Somali Coast.

The games multiplayer will also be developed by Danger Close this time rather than handing that over to Battlefield dev DICE so hopefully the 2 experiences will be the same rather than the previous title where features in the single player game were missing from the multiplayer. Like other EA PC titles, the game will use Origin.
