For me, I feel something is missing from this game... But I will be honest with you, I started the game on Easy so I could rush through the game and check out all the levels and bad guys, and maybe this is what did me in.
I feel like the game was put out too quickly after MM9. The dudes at Capcom could have worked on something far more interesting, but I guess they chose a cash in sequel.
I like the addition of the easy mode. I like the addition of player videos. I like the addition of extra challenges. But still, everything else just feels kinda bogus.
I like SOME ideas in the game. I like the way the sports level kinda reminded me of the NES Baseball game. Better graphics too. Also, I don't have any music stuck in my head. But, now that I say that, I have tunes from Mega Man 9 running in my brain goo.
I have yet to beat the game or reached the Wily levels, as Swordman(?) is the only dude left to beat...
I like that Capcom added Protoman to the game, but yet again they are being fags* by making Bass DLC, who I'm sure is already in the game to begin with.
*by fags I mean douche assholes and not homosexuals
These are just my thoughts on the game. I'll skip beating easy right now and start a new Normal game. Maybe that will change my mind.
How about yourself? How do you feel about the game? Please list some likes or dislikes.
Mega Man 10
Game » consists of 5 releases. Released Mar 01, 2010
When a robotic virus causes robots to either malfunction or go berserk, it's up to Mega Man and Proto Man to help cure it in the second deliberately-retro installment of the Mega Man series.
Your thoughts on Mega Man 10?
Before I say this, I have to admit I only played the MM9 demo, and haven't touched 10.
I feel like Mega Man 9 was a cool idea, an interesting revamp of the series, but 10 didn't really seem to take it in the direction I would want it to. 9 felt new and kinda funny, and 10 just sounds like the same thing. The whole noscon thing feels like it should have been a one trick pony, not the new direction of the classic series. I mean, I didn't have a problem with the awesome MM8 sprites in the first place, why not make giant HD sprites for me to ogle?
MegaMan 9 was a decent game. It took a lot from Megaman 2 and tried to incorporate a lot of fresh ideas that worked well for the game. I would have played through the game more if that terrible blob boss didn't kill the experience as it was just overly difficult. I did eventually finish the game, and loved it as well.
Megaman 10: I love it much more than Megaman 9. I feel the music is a bit better, which to me, adds A LOT to the classic megaman gameplay. Rather than Megaman 2, it reminds me of Megaman 4. Which to me was most enjoyable . Great music, very difficult, and was quite a long Megaman game as well.
- However, I don't like the idea of playing as Protoman or any other character you might be able to get. I feel if they are going to make a classic Megaman game, just stick with Megaman. Adding more character was the problem to begin with.
" I played this in august. Got raped 15 times in a row, then passed controller to my friend, he got raped. The game was pissing us off, so i rushed to my friends desktop computer and launched track and field through neighborhood. Have no desire to play this game "How did you play Mega Man 10 last year?

I don't think the music was memorable or anything, there aren't many megaman songs that are. I think Megaman 4 topped all Megaman games when it came to music. But, comparing 10 to Megaman 9, I'd say 10 is far superior, while 10 only held my interest on the boss who looked like a space ship (Name slipped my mind).
I just finished Megaman 10 today, first on normal, then on easy. It's a great game. Unlike 9, where I played it, beat it and didn't really want to try it again. I liked it a lot, going back to the classics, I think 10 has much better level design. Everything is not set out to kill you randomly. There was actually a lot of fun to be had, unlike 9, where it seemed to be much more trap deaths. I found myself dying trying to fight my way through the enemies than say falling on random placed spikes after a screen transition.
Now, I just have to go through the game on hard mode, and TRY to not get killed...yikes.
