Mega Man returns to his roots in this deliberately retro side-scrolling platformer that simulates the style and simplicity of the first six Mega Man games.
"Gave us exactly what we wanted"? I didn't ask for a game that abandons all the ways that gaming has advanced over the last 15 years...
Anyways, I won't be too critical here on the Mega Man 9 side of GB, but I will say one more thing. Today I listened to the soundtrack to MM9... Not even a single song on that soundtrack holds up to the better half of MM1, 2, 3, or 4...
The guy gave the graphics a 3.0 when it clearly looks better than most Wii games. Also, straight rips of MM2 Boss intros and victory themes? I'm so there.
