    Capcom's LittleBigPlanet-style Mega Man game Mega Man Universe has been cancelled because of "various circumstances". I don't really care, honestly... I lost most of my interest in the game when they revealed what it was.

    It looked terrible from Day 1.  Hopefully this will get Mega Man Legends 3 greenlit quicker.

    @KingBroly: Legends 3 has already been confirmed. It's coming out for the 3DS this year.

    Well that's a shame. It at least looked different (even though I have no qualms with numbered Mega Man games).

    I was sort of expecting this. It was a pretty odd project and without Inafune there (who seems to have a knack for supporting weird or risky projects, as well as a personal connection to the character) to defend it with his status, someone would eventually start to question its existence. Or maybe Inafune's departure, regardless of how involved he actually was with the game, took the air out of the whole project. Who knows.
     
    Mostly I'm just disappointed that we won't see a crazy split up of Mega Man into Rockman/MegaMan. 
     
    All hope now rides alone on Legends 3.
