    Best Mega Man Title

With a series so famous for it's platforming and crazy weapons, Mega Man X is by far my favorite of the entire franchise. The game begins simply enough with a tutorial-ish level and just steamrolls into a completely stellar experience from that point on. All the enemies, locations, and bosses are greatly varied and it's set in a way that can makes the game so fast paced that it's just amazing. This game takes everything that made Mega Man so great and just gave it a slicker, smoother way of running which makes it one of the true gems, especially for the Super Nintendo. The game allows players the power slide, wall cling/jump (with a little practice this skill becomes most invaluable in a pinch) and the weapon charge which makes your entire arsenal a force to be reckoned with.

The music is awesome for each level and even the boss fight music is fun to listen to. The graphics are smooth and roll seamlessly which allows players the full enjoyment of quality video for a 16-bit game. The game has armor suit and weapon power-ups (granted that you kind find them) which adds to the overall experience of the game in addition to giving the Blue Bomber an ever cooler appearance. This game is worth the time and money if you happen to come across it in a shop somewhere. 5/5!

I’ve never played the other installments in the X series, so I’m basing everything on this review on my experiences with this game, alone, as well as how it compares with the installments in the original Mega Man series. In Mega Man X, you play as…Mega Ma...
