This is a Poll for the original Megaman X games, what did you think was the hight of the X series?

I personally think X3 is the best, followed by X and X2. The rest are sub-par in my opinion.

Close one between Megaman X4 and X2 for me. Music was excellent in both, and the Shoryuken in X2 was awesome but X4 edged out only because I had the Japanese version and the anime cutscenes were pretty hardcore despite not understanding any of it....

I'm gonna say X3.

After playing Megaman 2 & 3 on the NES, I never really got back into Mega Man until Zero 2 so I've never been a big X fan. I have played the first three through ehm, not fully legitimate ways, but none of them really stuck with me. I might say X2 because you start with the dash move. That limited chance that you'll be able to get all of Zero's parts though sucked. 
 
Y'know what? I'm gonna say Mega Man X: Command Mission, that was pretty fun and didn't overstay its welcome (i.e. it wasn't all that great after a while but it was short enough that I finished it anyway).

I'm glad that the votes are tied between X3 and X right now. They're my favorites. I voted for X3.

X5 because you can send a fucking shuttle to a falling colony. If you are lucky, you can blow that shit up with a FUCKING LASER.

I've only ever played Megaman X, and, even though I've only played it a handful of times (it was a friend's, and I never had a SNES), the music is some of my most favorite in all of video games.

All the Mega Man X's were good. Fuck that original Mega Man bull shit. As long as I can kill things with a bad ass sword, then I'm a happy man.

Only played X4 and X. Spent much more time with X, gets my vote. BLOWIN' UP SUBS SON.

I voted X on SNES, but X4 on PS1 is a close 2nd for me.

They all sucked. Megaman 8 was where it was at. Bad boss voice-acting FTFW!

The original is probably the greatest.  Though my personal favorite is X6 because it is just so crazy hard amongst other weird reasons.  

Original is still the best, the story wasn't all super freaking crazy (like in the last half of the series) and the music is awesome. X2 is also really close to being the best with the improved bosses and abilities. X3 is great too but the music (sans the intro level) is not as good as the previous. X4-X6 range from okay to medicore.
