i think its awsome, why has everyone been haten on it?

To list out my reasons:

• The controls are complete shit
• The graphics show no effort at all (look last gen)
• The story is absolute ass (pun intended)
• The dialogue and voice acting is terrible
• The gameplay itself (vehicles, destruction, shooting) is absolutely horrid.

I'll judge it for myself eventually. My first impressions of the game is that it will be fun for a while. But  I guess I could see the novelty wearing off pretty quickly.
But then again, maybe gamers nowadays need A+ games to have any fun.
I for one judge all games for myself. If all I did was follow the crowd and played the A+ titles only, I'd be robbing myself of so many games.

I wouldn't say I hate it, but it's definitely not that great. I also think there are a lot of people out there who love it...

I don't like it for an array of reasons. It's quite buggy and it's not graphically impressive etc. My biggest complaint is that it really is exactly the same as the first game...the similarities are crazy.

I still got it, gonna sell on Ebay ASAP for emergency Far cry 2 money.

I played the demo and was appalled. I loved the demo for the original Mercenaries and regret not buying it, but this game is just broken. It's just a mess of poor design choices and lackluster gameplay.

Everything about that game is horrible, I'll always regret buying it.

I didn't bother playing it, and wasn't particularly excited before the news of bugs and bad gameplay came out.  I like the first one an awful lot, but it took so long for the sequel to come out I think most people moved on.

Everything felt... clunky. Underdone. Unfinished. Sloppy.

im the only one! it is pretty buggy though i agree with that.

The demo was fun, but it was also was just enough time with the game to know I'd be happier spending around $20 on it in a year than $60 now.

I played the demo. Just from that I can tell that this game was going to suck so I never gave it a shot.

I played the demo got pissed and not interested quitted and deleted the demo, the only other game tha tmade me do this is mega man 9, ahving not played mega man for NES I was not interested in the "nostalgia" effect of dying every fucking 30 seconds.

I love it. As flawed as it is, its a shit load of fun to play. I still wish it was as good as the original mercenaries, but its still fun to play.

They didn't bother a whole lot with the graphics.

The demo was HORRIBLE.
But I still want to try it out

They hate the game cause they don't like it, I on the other hand loved it it was a great game the controls weren't horrid, the gameplay certainly wasn't horrid *no worse then GTA* and the storyline was what it was *still no worse then GTA* as for that it had a great coop component that i loved.

Good sir, I love this game and am proud of it, it is good fun.

I'll get to it eventually.

I don't think it's anything spectacular, but I'd imagine it's decent.  It can't possibly be worse than GTA4, can it?

I bought this game brand new for 20 dollars, I paid 20 dollars too much for it.

I played the original a dozen of times, it was definately my favorite of last gen.  This one is a fraction of the game the first was.  I only played this once, I've tried to get into it multiple times but it is so hard to do seeing how much they messed this one up.  I still love the concept, so if the next one gets good reviews I'll buy it the day of release, but if not I'm gonna have to say goodbye to the Mercenaries franchise.  Atleast I still have my old xbox laying around to play the first.
