Did anybody else find Otacon to be the hidden star of MGS4?

I thought it was okay, I had enough of his crying in MGS2 though.

Bit too hammy, but pretty good yeah.

I loved Otacon in all the MGS games but I do agree that in the more emotional scenes, he was a bit too hammy in his acting.

Hes a bitch.  He cried in every fucking game he was in.  What a dumbass, Sniper Wolf didnt even know his name.  I would have shot him in the face myself.

I didn't care for Hal, too many bad memories of him sobbing and pissing his pants in previous MGS games.

So i'm the only person on here who genuinely felt sorry for him in MGS2? Can't say i'm surprised.

I felt bad for him in 2 and 4 but didn't really like him in the first one.  I do think they could have found a better actor to play him though cause the really emotional scenes were pretty ridiculous.

I really liked his character-seemed like the most likely character you would meat across the road. But the scene with Naomi completely killed the idea for me. It was just melodramatic.
