@Tobiass: have you taken into account this might be a website mistake? You'd think something like this will have an official statement from MS and or Konami.

I think it's odd they closed down all the online on the PS3 and now are rereleasing it on the 360 (which will undoubtedly make playstation owners either want to play it again or go and get it). Weird.

Other than that though, it makes sense to me (but then again, I never thought of MGS as a Sony thing anyway)

That description is also over 4 years old, as the Dualshock 3 is not new anymore. Clearly they copy and pasted the description from a very old source.

god i hope this is true. i really wanna play this game as im a huge MGS fan and its the only one ive never played. but i really dont wanna buy a ps3 for just one game.

This is fake. Konami would have to actually go in and change parts of the game before they could release it on 360, and I really don't think they would be willing to put in the effort to do it. I mean, look how much hard work they put into those Silent Hill and Zone of the Enders collections.

If this ever ends up being real, I regret listening to all the spoilers on it back in the day.

I want this to be real just because of how ridiculous it is. Xbox 360 gets Metal Gear Solid 4... years after it came out on PS3.

Ooooh man. I remember that year at E3, what was it, 2010? Where everyone was like MGS4 4 360!! And everyone else was like NUH UH!! Then Kojima came out on stage at the Microsoft press conference and everyone was like SEE TOLD YA MGS4 4 360!! Then he was like MGSR and everyone else was like LOL TOLD YA!! ...good times.

This is really strange, I buy all my games from that site, it's like the no1 online store for my country. Would be weird if fake, someone must of hacked in.

That box art looks horribly photoshopped around the area where "Only on PlayStation" would be on the PS3 version box art. Shame, because I would totally buy this if it did end up on 360.

So maybe it's just me avoiding Kojima games like the plague, but could someone fill me in on why this would be so mindblowing? I mean, platform exclusives have switched platforms before (Mass Effect, for example), or is this game some extreme case?

Totally possible, especially since I think we'll find out the new metal gear will be on the next xbox. So why not finally bring 4 to the 360? Though, I feel like konami would have made a bigger deal out of this than what will be some upcoming press release saying it's out in a week or two. Honestly MSG 4 is still the only non psn ps3 exclusive that I actually greatly enjoyed.

At this point I feel like it's 50/50 if it actually exists or not. Both sides kinda make sense. The photoshop look could just be them quick throwing up art on the page for all we known.

That's how I felt about BioShock on PS3. Luckily, that game is so good that even though I knew the Big Twist before jumping in, by the time I'd gotten to it, I was so absorbed in everything that I'd forgotten about it and it still took me by surprise.

Also, the listing says it released on November 1, 2012. If this were true, it would already be out. You would already be playing it.

Metal Gear Solid has always been a pretty hardcore PlayStation-exclusive brand, and everybody thought they were going to drop the bomb at a Microsoft E3 press conference that it would be coming to 360 (like what happened with GTA IV) and it never did. So it'd be kind of crazy for it to not be a PS3-exclusive anymore.

They are not allowing you to order it.
