    Best game so far

OMG i love this game. Solid snake returns for his "final?" (yes) mission. If you've been following the metal gear series from start to finish, you will not be disappointed with this game. The closure of the Solid Snake saga is one of the best endings in gaming.

    GAMEPLAY:
First off, this is a stealth tactical espionage game. Meaning that staying stealth plays a "big" part of the game. Sure u can "Run n' Gun," but if you try that in the higher difficulty levels, you will just see yourself being mowed down by either Soldiers or the Militia. Snakes best weapon is his stealth suit which takes the texture and colorization of his surrounding and creates a similar image on him. The controls are really comfortable and i think its the best setup for this type of game.

I really dont need to state any down-sides to the gameplay, seeing how, to me, they are really minor. I have yet to touch the multi-player.

    SOUND:
I would really like to write more on sound, but i am one of the unfortunates who only play on a Stereo system. But from just that, the sounds in the game are rich. Voice acting is pretty good (but i dont really like english dubs). Guns sound like guns. Ambiance is there.

    GRAPHICS:
This is where MGS4 really shines. Kojima and company did a great job bringing the "Snake" universe into a whole different generation. These graphics are all what next gen. means. Cut-scenes transition into gameplay nicely. The model details are really well done.

All in all, this is a game that all ps3 owners (who know about the MGS series). You will not be disappointed by this purchase.

Metal Gear solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is without a doubt the ultimate Metal Gear experience for any fan of the series and an absolute must have for any PS3 owners looking for a good game and a reason to justify their purchase of a PS3. It pretty much answers every question you had on its previous entries. Metal Gear solid 4 has been completely re hauled in the gameplay department. It plays very different from it's predecessors. Although at the same time it's more accessible to western audie...

MGS4 blurs the line between cinematography and gameplay. 0

Metal Gear Solid has always been praised (and sometimes bashed) by it's long cutscenes, movie-style cinematography and mind bending plot twists. Metal Gear Solid 4 continues this trend by not only reaching this goal, but by blasting it into hyper-space. But what hasn't been done well in a Metal Gear Solid game is a perfect control system, an in-depth and varied gameplay and intense action, to which Metal Gear Solid 4 not only improves upon these elements, but perfects them.Snake's final chapter ...
