WARNING: This blog post may contain spoilers about various elements in Peace Walker, if you don't wanna be spoiled, turn back now.

So, this game hasn't been out a week yet. So there is no way I have seen everything, but here are some things that you may have missed your first time through.

    1. Chapter 5: Beating Peace Walker isn't the end. So don't stop at the end of Ch. 4. I won't go any deeper, but yeah.

    2. Audio files in the AI Pods. After you defeat the bosses (Pupa, Chrysalis, Cocoon) you get to go inside and pull the AI boards. Pay attention though! Sometimes you might get an UP prompt as you are moving around the pod, press the button and get a new audio file. This works in all of the battles, even the later Ex. Ops. You might have to replay missions though.

    3. Which truck was it again? For those of you that remembered the license plate number, congrats. Congrats on missing some funny easter eggs. Go back and pick the other trucks.  Not only will you get some funny bits, you will also get someone for Mother Base. Someone very important.

    4. Funny conversations- I love the briefing file system, now I can listen to all those codec conversations whenever I want, and its not even during a mission. While nothing tops Sigint's nightmare from MGS3 (Not yet...) there have been some funny conversations. At least listen to Miller explain the Box Tank. Also, the explanation of Cecile's name is good too. (Thanks again to Miller)

    5. Weird Weapons? Oh yeah. Again, not going to spoil too much, but I personally love the weapon you recieve after Ex. Op 45. Hold Up.

    6. Gotta Catch 'em All. While many people destroyed the vehicles, there is a much more rewarding way to go about these boss battles. Take out all the enemies (The escorts and all of the back ups). And the commander will pop out of the Tank, Helicopter, etc. Take him out, and you KEEP the vehicle. The commander will only show up when the vehicle is under 60% (unless it's a tank, then it is 40%). These make Outer Ops, way easier. And you don't risk losing your people.

    7. It's all about your skills! While the main characters that work on Mother Base have their own skills (Huey with Bipedal Design). Some of the regular Joes have them too. Some of them are invaluable. Channeler for instance, let's you see all items and prisoners on the map.

    8. Finish Zeke!! During the boss battles, you get more parts for Zeke if you just aim for the AI Pod, don't worry about the other parts. Pupa has the Jetpack, Chrysalis has the Radome and Railgun, and Cocoon has the Armor. You need one of each main part AND the Railgun for Zeke to function (And finish Ch. 4)

    9. Isla Del Monstruo: Read all of Chico's briefing files on UMAs. Then play Ex. Ops 29. Head back to the beach, and go to the dock, there you will see a familiar face if you've played Monster Hunter....

    10. Dead Man's Treasure. One of the more bizarre mission sets. With one hell of a cameo too. Think MGS3....
