One of the best gears ever

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walkers story is set after the events of Metal Gear Solid 3.

Snake is contacted by (???) and asked to go on one last mission, Snake refuses, only to take it on after hearing a tape recording of what sounds like his former mentor boss.

The game is a mix of modern action adventure and tactical role play. Before each mission you have the option to equip yourself before you take on a mission.
You have the option to play 4 player over ad-hoc on the PS3 or 6 player local. Some later missions are quite hard and you would be advised to tackle them with a good co-op team.

The game took me about 12 hours to complete but the addition of extra missions and unlockable areas can run it up to 40 hours.

There is about 200 ex-op missions you can partake in to upgrade your character, via research missions that improve gear.

This is one of the best looking psp games I have had the luck to play, the cutscenes have a wondeful animated comic-book style.

I suggest that you use headphones to experience the sound, because it's both atmospherically awesome with a great movie style soundtrack that fits right in with the style of the past games.

The only real downside is the controls during a full action scene -  it can sometimes be hard to control the camera or keep track of the action on the screen.

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is right up there as one of the best of the Metal Gear Solid series.

Well go on! go out and buy the game!
