I need to stop playing Kojima games

Another dud from Kojima Productions...I shouldn't be surprised at this point, but I only have myself to blame for continuing to sink time into these games.  Zone of the Enders 2, Lunar Knights, Metal Gear Acid, the list goes on and on of games I simply haven't enjoyed.  This is going to be my swan song for their games as I simply can't stand wasting any more of my life on these things.  I can only describe this game as a reimagining of Metal Gear skinned in the MGS1 style.  After playing MGS2 and 4, I just can't go back to the days of the MGS1 style.  I played this for about an hour and couldn't take it anymore.  The stealth action genre has never been my favorite, but at least MGS4 provided enough in the way of good combat and gameplay variety to keep me going.  After selling this game, MGS2 and 4 will be the only Kojima games in my library, and I plan to keep it that way indefinitely.

      Looks great, plays bad. 0

Judging by the 15-hour campaign length, I've made it through roughly half of MGS: Portable Ops, and I just can't bring myself to play any further. After suffering through 8 hours of fighting the camera, enduring horrific gunplay, putting up with tedious stealth exploration and plowing throguh unsatisfying hand-to-hand combat, it's time to pull the plug on this game. The most important feature for series fans will be the story. It's unfortunate the gameplay is so clunky and awkward, it's real toug...
