    Metal Gear Solid 3

This is one of the best games of all time. Out of the whole Metal Gear Solid series, this one is arguably the best and easiest to understand as a stand alone title, not considering the other games in the series. It is one of the most profound statements of our culture ever created. This game will teach you more about life than you expect a video game could have ever done.

This is one of the best games of all time, and also one of the only in a short list to be featured on a handheld, so this is arguably one of the greatest most important games of all time to ever be on a handheld system. The only other games that could compare to this would be if Ico, Half life, or Bioshock made their way to a handheld.

The differences between the PS2 version are not big. Yes the graphics are different and the controls are different, but they suit the system well. The only technical confusing thing about the controls are that you have to take your finger off the circle pad to click up on the d pad to climb stuff. That is only because on the PS2 they were on different sides of the controller. You never even do the two things at the same time, so its not actually a problem at all, its more of a comparison to the PS2 version and doesn't change the gameplay experience at all.

The differences between the PS2 version and the 3DS version are slight control differences, you can now run while crouched, and prone being a 3rd option now instead of just walking and prone. There are some camera control options where clicking L will reset the camera to your characters view or go into 3rd person or 1st person mode and let you walk around while holding L. It is very easy to use and makes the game just that little bit easier to play technically compared to the PS2 version. It is the only objective enhancement besides the menus being better, every single option is available on the touch screen without pausing the game.

Simply put, this is Metal Gear Solid 3, on a handheld, with 3d graphics. It says "A Hideo Kojima Game" on the box. When the game starts up it says "Directed by Hideo Kojima".

One of the most important games of all time is for the first time on a handheld. 5/5 because this is a game everyone needs to play, and is the definition of what art is. This version is just as good maybe even better than the original.

EDIT: I almost forgot, you can totally make your own custom camo with your own pictures. I used a picture of a pizza and made snake wear pizza camo. :D That is an awesome bonus feature!

The week before Switch launch’s sixth anniversary just seems like prime time to take out this plastic monstrosity for another ride… (My third playthrough of this port with circle pad pro in Japanese, both voice-over and text. 11 hours 48 minutes and 32 seconds clocked on the kill screen. “Jaguar” rank with 85 enemy causalities. Had to use the small window in both terms of both space and time for sniping the End so the whole playthrough only took up a weekend.)Metal Gear ...
