MGS:Touch is Hideo Kojima's next Metal Gear Solid project that is slated to be released for the iPhone and the iPod Touch.

Overview

The story for the game is based on Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots but it's a completely different adventure. The game is strictly based on shooting and had eight stages, however more updates have been released and the game currently has 20 missions in total. Because it is not on a console, the gameplay had to be simplified. The game will have a simple touch shooting interface. You basically use your finger to adjust your aim and tap the screen to shoot, also, you'll be able to zoom in and out by pinching your finger on the screen. Instead of cutscenes, you will get still shots that will push the story forward. Getting special bonus points allows you to download special Metal Gear Solid themed iPhone wallpaper. Recently, a Lite version, or a demo, was released on the iTunes store.
