No, not THAT Nomura.
How confident are you that Konami will deliver? Also, what do we even want from an MGS5? I remember there being a bunch of nerd rage on the internet about MGS4, but I thought it was the best one.

I felt like the ending to MGS4 was kind of a cop out and I really don't want an MGS5, (unless it's a wild departure from the current MGS world) especially that close to the next generation of consoles. I rather see something new out of Kojima, that is, if he is even going to be working on MGS5.
Buuuuut, if MGS5 was set in the Snatcher or Policenauts world, I'd buy it.
Well, Kojima has been teasing that new engine of his. And with Platinum working on Revengeance, that leaves Kojima's team open, so...
I'm up for more stealth action, but I don't really see where they can take the story. On the other hand, Revengeance seems to be after MGS4, so maybe that'll leave it open for more stealth focused stories.
Or maybe it'll be another prequel like MGS3.
You know, I wouldn't mind seeing a 3D remake of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2, complete with voice acting, and perhaps extended stories. Could be interesting.
They already made MGS5. It was called Peace Walker.

Besides, Kojima has been begging people to stop buying the MGS series, but this fanbase will not listen, so Konami will not stop throwing money at him to make more.
I think this time Kojima will attempt to out-troll himself by making a 5 hour animated opening cutscene about war with David Hayter narrating from afar, and then the entire game will change into an hour-long point-and-click adventure game starring Sunny as a Starbucks barista trying to impress a boy she likes. Then the epilogue will be a cutscene that rolls for another 2 hours, then credits, then another hour of epilogue. And we will still give him money for it.

... I would totally buy that.
i lol at ppl that call peace walker mgs5. i'm a huge mgs fan and i think it's silly.
as for mgs5 i'd obviously buy it but i think kojima's talent is going to waste on one franchise.
i'd be really happy if he did some new ips
