Setting & Story
Metro 2033 takes place in Moscow, Russia in 2033 after an apocalyptic event in 2013 that almost destroyed mankind and turned the earth's surface into a poisonous wasteland. A few of the survivors took shelter in the metros below Moscow, creating city-states and living their day to day lives in fear of what lurks outside.Character
The main character of Metro 2033 is Artyom. He was born a few days before the fire but raised underground. After an important event Artyom must journey to the center of the metro to warn the rest of mankind of the incoming threats.Gameplay
