Had some trouble on Ranger mode with the controls. Got this off Gamefly

Cannot get the game to detect my Xbox controller (wired) on PC.

Any advice? The green light is on and when I run Metro 2033 and Far Cry 3, the controller works fine... ?

@believer258: Simply that the manual did not indicate controller options, and the game mode i chose has no tutorial, and seeing as you use function buttons to do most things, I thought this might help some.

Though I still believe people should just fiddle around with it if they pick a harder difficulty with no hand-holding.

@zeforgotten: Yeah...trouble is, they use function keys so you gots to depress on multiple buttons for the desired effect

Did you check to see if the gamepad was selected in the options? Sometimes it won't automatically select the gamepad.

how can I check my inventory in ranger mode?

@lordturki: I dont believe you can. I would have loved to manually check the magazine and my backpack or something (like Zombi-u ?) It looks like the only way is to check your inventory when at a vendor.

I connect my ps3 controller with MotionJoy and it works fine but when i try to use it with metro last light it wont detect it , i go to options in main menu but the Controller option is in grey HELP PLEASE

Thank you for this, right now at Bandits and trying to finish this game thanks to this guide. Since I'm doing a non-lethal run, I don't really need to go into the weapons inventory at all, so it's not so bad.

May i know what is the key or key combination on XBOX 360 controller to Run our hero? Somehow i wont be able to make him run or maybe there some issue with DVD which i have installed game on Indian version of XBOX 360 console.
