Take the Express Train To Terror in Metro: Last Light
Oh and that trailer was pretty sweet.I liked the artistic style instead of just plain ingame graphics.
Also this just looks like metro 2033Yeah, you can CLEARLY tell that from the 4 seconds of gameplay in the trailer.
Man, what's up with crazy-edited trailers today? I like it! (the other one is The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo).
oooooh.
i should finish metro 2033. everything about that game is awesome except the shooting. it's kinda meh.
@clank543: It's an FPS. You shoot things with bullets, surely you can work out what the gameplay is gonna be like without the need of a trailer showing you the obvious.Except that Metro 2033's shooting mechanics were quite different than most FPS and more often than not in bad ways. So no, one can't work out what the gameplay will be like.
This is metro 2034. They renamed it. Basically the book was a bit of a pretentious arty affair. Not very similar to his original 2033.
Therefore they renamed the game.
p.s. this trailer killed my epileptic dog. Game must be awesome.
First again second time today Also this just looks like metro 2033 and wasnt it going to be called metro 2034?And MW3 looks like MW2, Fallout 2 looks like Fallout 1, Infamous 2 looks like Infamous 1. It's a sequel in a series, of course it's gonna look the same.

They nailed the atmosphere the first time around, and I even loved all the crazy mechanics like repairing your gas mask and hand-cranking your flashlight.
I really, REALLY don't like using known music clips for trailer mashups. When I want to listen to Portishead I do that on my own, thank you. I hate this kind of marketing.Composing the music for a game is very likely one of the last steps in development, as I would expect composers need finalized visuals to match their music to. Releasing teasers early in development thus means using known music, stock trailer music (which pretty much is known music), or silence, unless you're going to compose something specifically for the teaser, which might require a whole separate deal given how far in advance of their actual work it would be. I'm not saying you don't have a right to hate it if that's your opinion, but my guess is it's a necessary evil.
