Here it is for those who didn't watch the conference...

This looks like one of those fan vids people put up on youtube.  Like the one where Samus faces off against the Master Chief.

Game look awesome.  By the looks of the trailer, it looks like a Action/FPS game to me.

It has 2D sections as well. Maybe it's that "classic" Metroid everyone's been asking for, except spiced up with some third and first person stuff.

I want this game to be the latest in the timeline!

Slightly better stream on the 1st post now. At least it's smooth now.

I am REALLY liking the look of this game. Hopefully Samus' melee attacks and grapple moves are more than just the stuff of cinematics. If they find a way to allow players to pull that off in-game, in addition to the shooting, this game could be really good.

Also, really liking the richness of the colour in some levels. That's what Metroid Prime 3 was missing in my opinion.

The talent was ripped out of Team Ninja when Itagaki and his bros left. I wonder if this will be any good.

This is a hellishly outlandish theory, but I'm gonna put it out there so that if it happens, I can say I called it.

First person sections are the equivalent of QTEs. Instead of having to press buttons quickly, you have to line up a certain shot with the wiimote for a boss or some other event to trigger something more cinematic. I don't think that's a bad thing either, it sounds like a decent alternative and it fits with the game. And frankly, it sounds like something team ninja would do.

Also, I watched the conference without sound, so if there's something to shoot this theory down already, I apologise =x.

Yeah I can see it being used for split-second timing shots at weak points and things, could be cool intersected with the standard fighting.

I had a mental orgasm while watching this. Nintendo has oficially won E3 for me.

The trailer looked absolutely insane, one of the highlights of the conference. Definitely looking forward to it.

All this is perfect with Sakamoto's team working with Team Ninja. Yep, Sakamoto, the guy who helped guide Retro on making Metroid Prime, before splitting off and letting Retro make their own interpretation of Metroid with the Prime Trilogy. Glad to see the man back in action.

Totally didn't see this one coming, I mean I was like "yawn boring game made by team ninja...KJSFLKJDSFKLJSDFLKJ REALLY METROID! YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
