Same...

Edit: Okay that's interesting. Doesn't look like much of a redesign besides adding ugly ass vents.

@FluxWaveZ:  I hope not, that shit looks ugleeeee
#12 Posted by FluxWaveZ (19813 posts) -
@SPACETURTLE: Strange, that's what I keep seeing each time I click on it.  You must have adblock or something.
#13 Posted by Quacktastic (1065 posts) -

Hope that's fake.
Can't sit it horizontally?
Still using a disc tray in 2010?

Has to be fake.

#14 Posted by mikesira (238 posts) -

Its an ad that takes you to Microsoft's Italian site... Could be real.

#16 Posted by jonnyboy (2867 posts) -

Oh those crazy Italians.

#17 Posted by CharlesAlanRatliff (5699 posts) -

I see the ad just fine. It comes with a 250 GB HDD!

Ah, yeah, you might be right, I didn't think about that.

Anywho, that's exciting. I haven't payed too much attention to Microsoft's E3 stuff this year, but most likely we'll be hearing something about this, if this actually turns out to be a "360 slim".
#19 Posted by RE_Player1 (7943 posts) -

Looks like they made it so more air can flow through it, possible RROD killer?

If they're bothering with a revision, they've definitely take all precautions to eliminate the RRoD problem.  Increased ventilation is probably one of those precautions.

This actually looks legit. Even when you click it, you get redirected to the xbox Italian site.

#22 Posted by LeSheen (2 posts) -

it says
new xbox 360
built in wifi function =]
250gb hdd
 compatible with kinect

kinect could be natals name?

#23 Posted by CharlesAlanRatliff (5699 posts) -

The Kinect they mention in the ad seems to be the new name for Natal - here

#24 Posted by Terry_Bogard (308 posts) -

It looks like someone kicked in the front and dented it =\ Hey, if it isn't as loud as a plane I'll buy it.

#25 Posted by RichardLOlson (1904 posts) -

Could be real, who knows.

#26 Posted by The_Laughing_Man (13807 posts) -

So they are finely adding Wifi? Any idea of pricing?

#27 Posted by JJOR64 (19534 posts) -

I guess we will find out tomorrow.

#28 Posted by OllyOxenFree (5005 posts) -

Shit just got real.

#29 Posted by zombie2011 (5194 posts) -

That machine looks pretty badass.

It reminds me of one of those beastly Alienware computers.

#30 Posted by gike987 (1811 posts) -

Why did I just buy a xbox 360? I should have known.

We have absolutely nothing to compare it to.  We'll need to see it in person (or see a side-by-side comparison with the original) to really be sure.

I do not think it will be slimmed down that much. But I admit it looks very cool.

It's not a whole lot thicker than the disc drive. I'm fairly certain those have standard sizes.
#39 Edited by harrypmgaga (182 posts) -

This might be true. There's a couple of Microsoft ads I have for my site which I can't use until a certain date/time. That date/time is after Microsoft's presentation.

Ah, right.  Well, my guess is that it's a (stupid) codename.

If the disc drive plate is the same size as the regular 360's then it does indeed look smaller. The regular 360 is 4 to 5 drive plates thick (at the thinnest part in the middle). That one looks 3 to 4.

I'm wondering if current-model harddrives will be able to connect to it.

#43 Edited by deathstriker666 (1349 posts) -

This is probably what Microsoft is going to talk about at E3, if it is true

Ah crap... not if it's any thinner. Perhaps new smaller drives would be backward compatible, but I couldn't imagine older drives larger than the slim xbox being compatible.

This is an extremely important aspect of this whole thing.  If it's not, people will go nuts...
#48 Posted by EdIsCool (1140 posts) -

#49 Posted by TheMoD (129 posts) -
